Where Cooling Coils Actually Spawn

Cooling Coils count as Industrial loot. This means you focus on locations marked with the Industrial icon on your map. Within those spaces, a few container types carry most of the value:

Red industrial lockers
Breachable metal crates
Tool cabinets
Industrial drawers

Other sources like car hoods, buses, and mobile generators can drop Cooling Coils, but they rarely do. Red lockers and breach crates remain your most reliable targets.

The Best Cooling Coil Locations in ARC Raiders

1. Hydroponic Dome Complex – Dam Battlegrounds

This area offers the most consistent results. The large dome structures contain clusters of red lockers, which give the strongest odds of dropping Cooling Coils. Take a full loop inside each dome and clear enemies early so you can loot without pressure. If you want a single high-value run, start here.

2. Water Treatment Control – Dam Battlegrounds

This zone becomes especially rewarding if you bring a Dam Surveillance Key. The locked room on the left side contains an entire row of lockers, which often produce rare Industrial items. The rest of the building also holds toolboxes and metal crates, giving you a steady spread of loot.

3. Rocket Assembly – Spaceport

Rocket Assembly stacks red lockers across two floors, which allows you to sweep the whole structure in one smooth route. It also drops Epic materials alongside Cooling Coils, so the trip pays off even when you miss the item.

4. Warehouse Complex – The Blue Gate

This location offers enough lockers to justify a visit, but results swing more than in the other zones. Treat it as a secondary stop if you spawn near The Blue Gate or want to expand your route across maps.
