Soaring Spin in Where Winds Meet: How to Unlock the Mystic Art Early

The in-game skill card for Soaring Spin in Where Winds Meet, showing its description as an Offensive Single-target Control Mystic Skill, dealing high Physical Attack damage and recommended for pressuring targets.

Soaring Spin stands out as a precise, forward-driving Mystic Art that shifts into a spiraling finish. It fills a useful niche, especially when you want to pressure targets who rely on constant healing. The route to this art is longer than most, but every step leads cleanly toward the Martial Temple’s hidden chest.

Below is a simple and direct path so you can secure Soaring Spin early.

Step 1: Enter the Cave Above Jade Mirror Pond

Start at Jade Mirror Pond. Look along the cliff for a small cave opening above the water. This cave leads to a vertical path of ladders and broken platforms.

Move upward until you reach a gap with a ladder on the opposite side. Wall run across to reach it, then climb. You will enter a quiet chamber inside the Martial Temple.

There is a ladder in the corner. Climb it to reach a balcony with a small chest. Grab the keys. You will use them soon.

Step 2: Head to the Old Village Ruins Outpost

Leave the temple and travel east to the Old Village Ruins Outpost. You can fight your way inside or approach the guard and choose the wrestling option. Either approach works.

Find Lao inside the outpost and challenge him to a wrestling match. Winning grants a key item and unlocks several nearby chests. Open the chest on the raised platform, then move toward the small house on the southwest edge of the outpost.

Inside that house is a hidden wall. Interact with it to reveal a passage.

Step 3: Follow the Hidden Route Back Into the Temple

The passage leads into a cave that loops back under the Martial Temple. Follow the path until you drop into a lower chamber.

Clear the enemies. Strike the bell on the platform, then use Meridian Touch on the sealed door. This opens the final hallway that leads to the statue room.

Step 4: Climb to the Rafters and Claim Soaring Spin

Inside the statue chamber, defeat the enemies so you can move freely. Use the ladders and beams along the walls to climb toward the rafters above the statue.

Drop into the open space behind the statue’s head. A chest waits across the interior walkway. Use Celestial Seize to open it.

This chest contains the Soaring Spin Mystic Art.

How Soaring Spin Performs in Combat?

Soaring Spin begins with a clean forward thrust, then shifts into a tight spiral. The movement helps you catch opponents who try to slip away or recover.

On hit, it applies a strong Healing Reduction effect for five seconds. This makes the art valuable against regenerating bosses and players who rely heavily on sustain. Its Vitality cost stays manageable, so you can use it frequently in duels and group fights.
