Tracy Tutor Joins The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 16: ‘Likely to Get Into Some Trouble’

Tracy Tutor is officially swapping luxury listings for a diamond. The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star has joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 16, confirming a move she had openly said she wanted years ago. Tutor announced the news on Instagram on August 19, 2026, while Bravo and Deadline also confirmed her casting.

For Tutor, this is more than a new Bravo job. Beverly Hills is home, she raised her daughters there and built her luxury real-estate career in the city. But her arrival also comes with existing connections — and one especially complicated history with Dorit Kemsley that could make Season 16 very interesting.

Tracy Tutor’s RHOBH Season 16 Casting Comes After Years on Bravo

Tutor already knows exactly how Bravo works. She joined Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles in Season 10 in 2017 as the show’s first female real-estate broker and became one of its defining personalities. She remained a central cast member through Season 15, which aired in 2024, alongside Josh Altman and Josh Flagg.

The final Season 15 episode aired September 11, 2024, and the series has not returned for a sixteenth season. That left Tutor with an unexpected opening to move into another Bravo franchise.

Her announcement made it clear she knows the transition could get messy.

“Well… the secret’s officially out. I’m joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and I could not be more excited for this next chapter.”

Tutor also wrote that she was excited, nervous and “Likely to get into some trouble? Absolutely,” before ending with “Let’s f—ing go.”

More Format Changes Worth a Look Back: AGT went through a fairly significant overhaul of its own earlier this year, and it’s still generating conversation among longtime fans. For the full breakdown, revisit our coverage: ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 21 Unveils Its Biggest Format Shake-Up Yet.

Tracy Tutor Wanted to Join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Before

This casting does not come completely out of nowhere. During a 2023 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Tutor was asked whether she would join RHOBH. Her answer was direct: she said she would “100 percent” do it.

She explained that she already knew many of the women and believed she could bring a different energy to the group. Tutor also said she loved the women “not equally” and believed she could “bring a little heat.”

Now, that old interview feels like a preview of what is coming.

Tutor already has deep Beverly Hills connections through luxury real estate, wealthy clients, developers and entertainment figures. She has also spent years around people connected to the RHOBH world, meaning she does not have to manufacture a reason for being part of the social circle.

Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards Add Another RHOBH Connection

One of Tutor’s existing links to the franchise is Mauricio Umansky. The two have known each other through Los Angeles luxury real estate and have previously worked together on deals.

Umansky is Kyle Richards’ estranged husband and the founder of The Agency, making the relationship another natural bridge between Tutor and the RHOBH universe.

But that is not the connection likely to get the most attention.

Tracy Tutor and Dorit Kemsley Already Have a Public Dispute

Tutor’s history with Dorit Kemsley could be the biggest wildcard in Season 16.

In 2025, Tutor discussed Kemsley during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. Tutor alleged that Kemsley had failed to pay members of her glam team, including hairstylist Chris Dylan, and claimed Kemsley had benefited from connections to people in Tutor’s own glam network. Tutor also alleged that Kemsley had called her a “tacky woman.”

Those were Tutor’s allegations, not established findings, and Kemsley disputed the characterization.

During Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kemsley called Tutor’s comments “hysterical” and “attention seeking.” Kemsley said the dispute concerned an invoice she believed contained incorrect or duplicate charges, including a hotel expense she said had already been paid using her card. She maintained that her office had questioned the invoice rather than simply refusing to pay it.

With both women now connected to the same cast, an old disagreement could look very different on camera.

Tracy Tutor’s Luxury Real Estate Career Makes Her a Natural RHOBH Fit

Tutor brings serious professional credentials to the show. She has more than 25 years of real-estate experience and currently leads the Tracy Tutor Team at Compass Beverly Hills.

Compass announced in January 2025 that Tutor and her team had joined the brokerage, reporting more than $4.5 billion in career sales and nearly $550 million in portfolio value at the time. Tutor’s current professional biography also lists more than $4.5 billion in total sales volume.

Her work includes luxury homes, architecturally significant properties and branded developments. Before Compass, she was a prominent agent at Douglas Elliman Beverly Hills. Bravo has also highlighted her work involving Amangiri, Royal Atlantis in Dubai and Costa Palmas.

Her business now stretches across California and Texas, including Beverly Hills, Dallas and Austin.

From USC Theatre Arts to Bravo Reality Television

Tutor was not originally headed for real estate. Born August 11, 1975, and raised in Hidden Hills, California, she is the daughter of construction executive Ronald Tutor and Cheryl Osterkamp. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Theatre Arts degree in 1997.

She initially pursued acting and appeared in the late-1990s films Exposé and No Vacancy before moving into real estate.

Her television career eventually followed, with Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles making her a familiar Bravo personality from 2017 onward.

Tracy Tutor’s Family, Dating History and Business Ventures

Tutor was previously married to Jason Maltas, with whom she shares two daughters, Juliet and Scarlett. Their marriage and divorce became part of her MDLLA storyline.

Her relationship with fitness trainer Erik Anderson also became a major Season 15 storyline, particularly around their breakup and Tutor’s return to dating.

Outside television and real estate, Tutor published Fear Is Just a Four-Letter Word: How to Develop the Unstoppable Confidence to Own Any Room in 2020. The book became an instant Wall Street Journal bestseller. She has also pursued entrepreneurial projects, including the zero-sugar wine brand UN’SWEET.

What Tracy Tutor’s Arrival Means for RHOBH Season 16

Tutor arrives as the Beverly Hills franchise goes through another cast transition. Season 15 newcomer Amanda Frances has announced that she will not return for Season 16.

Bravo has confirmed Tutor’s casting, but the available announcements have not clearly established her exact billing or whether she will ultimately be presented as a full-time Housewife or in another capacity. Recent RHOBH seasons have featured Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne, Bozoma Saint John, Rachel Zoe, Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton among the major names associated with the franchise. E!’s current Season 16 coverage has also discussed returning cast members and storylines while the season remains in production.

That leaves one particularly tempting question: what happens when a longtime Bravo personality who already knows Beverly Hills walks into the same room as someone with whom she has unfinished history?

Tutor has the career, connections and reality-TV experience to hold her own. She also has years of personal and professional history in the exact world RHOBH is built around.

One thing is already certain: Tracy Tutor isn’t entering the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills universe without history. She has Bravo history, Beverly Hills history, real-estate history — and, with at least one current Housewife, some unfinished history too.

Season 16 could therefore become a very different chapter for RHOBH, with Tutor bringing an established Bravo identity, major luxury-real-estate credentials and a potentially complicated relationship with Dorit Kemsley straight into the Beverly Hills spotlight.
