Neverness To Everness (NTE) is a free-to-play supernatural open-world RPG developed by Hotta Studio, and it launched on April 29, 2026 across multiple platforms. One of the biggest questions players have right after jumping in is whether progress carries across devices. The good news is that NTE fully supports cross-progression and crossplay, though the PS5 setup requires a bit of extra attention.
Does Neverness To Everness Support Cross-Progression?
Yes, NTE supports full cross-progression. Your game data syncs across PC (Windows and Mac), PS5, iOS, and Android, as long as you use the same Perfect World Games (PWG) account and stay on the same server. However, progress does not carry between different servers. For example, your America server data and your Europe server data stay completely separate, even under the same account.

NTE does not currently have a confirmed release on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Steam, or Epic Games. Hotta Studio has made no official announcement regarding those platforms.
Which Servers Are Available?
NTE runs on four servers: America, Europe, Asia, and SEA. You can view and select your server from the bottom-right corner of the login screen. Since progress is locked to whichever server you choose, it is worth confirming with friends before you start playing so everyone ends up in the same place.
How To Set Up Cross-Progression on PC and Mobile
Cross-progression on PC and mobile is straightforward. You simply log in with your PWG account email on any device, select the same server, and your progress syncs automatically. The same account works across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android without any additional steps.
How To Set Up Cross-Progression on PS5
The PS5 setup requires more care, so it is worth reading through this before you launch the game on PlayStation for the first time.
If you already have progress on another platform:
- Step 1: On the PS5 login screen, select “Sign Up / Login with PWG Account (Cross-Platform)”
- Step 2: Enter the email address tied to your existing PWG account
- Step 3: Verify using a verification code or your password
- Step 4: Once linked, your existing progress carries over and stays in sync going forward
If you are starting fresh on PS5:
- You can select “Continue with PlayStation Network Account” to jump straight into the game
- This creates a new account tied to your PSN ID by default
- You can still link an email later by going to Settings > Account > User Center
Important PS5 Account Linking Rules
These are confirmed rules from Hotta Studio that every PS5 player needs to know before making any account decisions:
- Each PSN account links to only one email account, and each email account links to only one PSN account. It is a strict one-to-one relationship
- A PSN account that already has game progress cannot link to an email that also has existing progress. If you want to do this, you must delete the character data on your PSN account first via User Center > Other Settings. Note that this action cannot be undone
- Each PSN account can only unlink from an email account once, so think carefully before making any changes
- If you originally signed into NTE on another platform using a third-party login such as Google or Facebook, you need to link that third-party account to an email address first via User Center on PC or mobile. After that, you can use that email to log in on PS5, since PlayStation only supports PSN or email login
What Can You Do With Crossplay in NTE?
Once cross-progression is set up, NTE offers a solid crossplay experience across all supported platforms. You can play with other players across platforms in various modes including the in-game racing mode and Nullification puzzles. You also have access to mini-games like Mahjong, which works especially well on mobile for relaxed sessions. Additionally, purchased items carry over across all linked platforms, so anything bought on PC or mobile shows up normally on PS5 and vice versa.
On PS5 specifically, you will notice two separate friends lists: your in-game friends (visible on all platforms) and your PlayStation Network friends (visible on PS5 only).
What Happens To PS5 Trophies?
If you link a PSN account to an existing mobile or PC account that already has progress, any PlayStation trophies matching your existing achievements unlock automatically once you log in on PS5.
