Neverness to Everness throws a massive open world at you from the moment you log in, and the furniture system is one of those features that trips players up early. You unlock a piece, it vanishes into your inventory, and nothing seems to happen. That is because collecting furniture in Neverness to Everness requires a specific menu step that the game never actually explains. Once you know the process, though, it becomes second nature, and the rewards make it well worth the effort.

How to Collect Furniture in Neverness to Everness

The most important thing to know is that buying or unlocking furniture does not automatically add it to your property. You need to manually claim it through the City Tycoon menu every single time.

Here are the exact steps to collect furniture in NTE:

  1. Open the City Tycoon menu
  2. Select Property
  3. Choose a property from the left side of the screen
  4. Tap the Furniture Collection button
  5. Select any item flagged with “Press to Collect”

That highlighted “Press to Collect” tag is the only sign that something is waiting for you, so check this screen after every purchase or unlocked reward. The game does not send you a prompt, which is why so many players miss this step entirely.

One thing players often overlook even after claiming: you still need to go into your property and physically place the furniture to activate its Comfort value and any passive bonuses. Claiming just moves it from pending to owned. Placing it is what actually puts the effects into action.

What Are the Two Types of Furniture in NTE?

Not all furniture works the same way in Neverness to Everness. Understanding the difference between the two types will change how you spend your Fons early on.

Furniture TypeHow to GetMain Benefit
Standard FurniturePurchase from shops while exploringRaises House Comfort level
Anomaly FurnitureDefeat anomalies or unlock via specific apartmentsGrants passive combat and utility bonuses

Standard Furniture covers everything you find while exploring the city. It is primarily cosmetic and lets you personalise the properties you own. However, it also contributes to your House Comfort level, which unlocks additional home features over time.

Anomaly Furniture is the category that actually affects your gameplay. Many of these pieces come from defeating anomalies scattered around the city, and each one carries a passive bonus. For example, boxing gloves boost your critical damage, while a phone lets you fast travel directly back to your home. However, not all Anomaly Furniture drops purely from combat. Some pieces are tied to specific apartments and only become available once you buy or own that particular property, with their own individual unlock conditions or upgrade paths. Keep that in mind as you expand your property portfolio.

Where to Find Furniture in Neverness to Everness

There are several ways to get furniture in NTE, and some of them cost nothing at all.

  • DeLuxor Decor: The main furniture shop in the city. Look for the couch icon on your map under Hethereau in the City Shops section. This is where you will find the bulk of purchasable Standard Furniture.
  • DSD POP: A secondary shop that stocks certain furniture items, including display cabinets and collectible figures.
  • Anomalies: Defeating anomalies around the city rewards you with Anomaly Furniture pieces.
  • Free exploration: Some furniture appears for free in alleyways or near dumpsters while you explore.
  • Quests and Property Renovation Guide: Completing certain quests or progressing through the Property Renovation Guide also rewards furniture pieces.
  • Ebisu Auction House: Rare and high-value pieces such as wall paintings can be bid on here, with starting prices ranging from 150,000 Fons upward.

How to Check Your Furniture Collection Level

Your Furniture Collection level tracks how many Collection points your owned furniture adds up to. Every piece carries a Collection value, and stacking those points pushes your level higher.

You can check your current level in two ways:

  • Travel to any property you own, approach the Smart Control, and choose MY Collection. The bottom left corner shows your current Collection points and how many more you need to reach the next level.
  • From the City Tycoon menu, go to Property and select Furniture Collection for the same overview without fast travelling home.

Progressing your Collection level rewards useful items including Dream Seeds, Annulith, and other upgrade materials, so it is worth keeping an eye on the bar as you play.

Why Furnishing is Important for Your Progression

Furniture in Neverness to Everness connects directly to your progression in multiple ways.

  • House Comfort: Placing furniture raises your property’s Comfort value. Higher Comfort unlocks more home features over time and contributes to levelling up your City Tycoon level.
  • Passive Fons Income: Your furniture setup influences your passive income from properties. Fons is the primary currency in NTE, and stacking Anomaly Furniture bonuses alongside a well-decorated property gives your account a steady economic advantage without requiring constant active grinding.
  • Cafe Popularity: Certain furniture pieces can also go into The Cafe by Origen to improve its Popularity, which drives more customers and increases your passive earnings.

Quick Tips Before You Start Spending

  • Do not blow your early Fons on purely cosmetic Standard Furniture before securing Anomaly Furniture. The passive bonuses from anomaly drops are far more impactful at the start of the game.
  • When browsing furniture in shops, check the Collection value shown in the item details. This helps you prioritise purchases that push your Collection level forward.
  • If you want to track down a specific furniture piece, open your Collection menu, tap on the item you want, and scroll to the Source section. It tells you exactly where to purchase or find it.
  • Some furniture can be found completely free during exploration, so always keep an eye out in alleyways and around dumpsters as you move through the city.
  • Remember that claiming furniture and placing furniture are two separate steps. Always head into your property after collecting to actually set things up and activate the bonuses.

Neverness to Everness launched on April 29, 2026, developed by Hotta Studio and published by Perfect World Entertainment. The game pulled over 35 million pre-registrations before release, and the property and furniture system is a big part of what attracted that audience. Once you get the hang of collecting furniture through the City Tycoon menu and placing it correctly inside your properties, the whole system clicks into place and becomes one of the more rewarding loops the game has to offer.
