If you have been pushing through Neverness to Everness and hunting for a strong free weapon, Blow up the Crowd is one you should be chasing early. This S-Rank Solid Arc sits at the top of the free-to-play weapon pool, and it earns that spot through a genuinely useful dual-phase passive that works both on and off the field.
What Is Blow up the Crowd in Neverness To Everness?
Blow up the Crowd is an S-Rank Solid Arc in Neverness to Everness. It serves as the signature weapon for Haniel, though it works well on several other Solid-type characters too. At max level, it hits 512 Base ATK with a 27.5% ATK substat, making it one of the stronger free weapons available without spending on the gacha banner. In fact, it is widely considered one of the best free S-Rank Arcs you can obtain in the early game.
How to Get Blow up the Crowd in NTE
There are two ways to obtain Blow up the Crowd in Neverness to Everness.
- Rhythm Master Anomaly Commission: Head to Illusion Town, located in the east of Fiscus Avenue near the office building area, and complete the Rhythm Master commission by defeating the Beat King. This is a rhythm-based mini-game boss fight where you need to time your jumps, attacks, and dodges to the beat of the music. Button mashing will not get you through it, so pay attention to the on-screen cues and follow the rhythm carefully. Completing this commission rewards the Arc directly.
- Arc Selection Shop: You can also pick up Blow up the Crowd from the Arc Shop for 25 Tri-Keys, with a purchase limit of 4 copies.
The Anomaly Commission route costs nothing, so clear it as soon as you can access Illusion Town.

Blow up the Crowd Passive: Beat King
The Beat King passive is what makes this weapon stand out. It operates differently depending on whether the wearer is on or off the field, giving you value in both situations during a fight.
While the wearer is off-field: The active character’s ATK increases by +10%. On top of that, each time the wearer deals damage, the active character gains an additional +2% ATK per stack, up to 4 stacks with a maximum of 1 stack every 2 seconds. This entire effect resets the moment the wearer switches back in as the active character.
While the wearer is on-field: The wearer’s Psyche DMG increases by +12%, and each time the wearer deals Psyche DMG through a Basic Attack, they gain an additional +2% Psyche DMG per stack, up to 10 stacks. This can trigger once every 0.3 seconds and resets whenever you swap characters.
At max Mixing level (A6), the numbers scale up noticeably:
| Effect | Base Level | A6 |
| Off-field ATK bonus to active character | +10% | +14% |
| ATK per stack (off-field) | +2% | +3.2% |
| On-field Psyche DMG for wearer | +12% | +20% |
| Psyche DMG per stack (on-field) | +2% | +3.2% |
Pushing Blow up the Crowd to higher Mixing levels meaningfully improves both the stacking potential and the peak numbers, so extra copies from the Arc Shop are worth picking up if you have the Tri-Keys available.

Best Characters for Blow up the Crowd
Blow up the Crowd works with any Solid-type character in NTE. However, certain characters benefit more than others based on how their kits interact with the passive.
| Character | Rank | Why It Works |
| Haniel | A-Rank | Signature weapon. The off-field ATK buff to the active character feeds her support role perfectly, while the on-field Psyche stacking boosts her damage during her active window. |
| Esper Zero | S-Rank | Solid Arc user who benefits from both the active character ATK buff and the on-field Psyche DMG scaling. |
| Jiuyuan | S-Rank | Another Solid-type who makes strong use of the passive across both phases. |
| Hotori | Solid type | Benefits from the off-field ATK support while another character holds the active slot. |
Is Blow up the Crowd Good for Haniel?
Yes, and it is currently the best free Arc for Haniel in NTE. Her kit revolves around buffing teammates through her Hootie skill and building Ensemble stacks, so the off-field ATK boost from Beat King lines up naturally with how she plays. The passive directly raises the active character’s ATK while Haniel sits off the field, which is exactly the position she spends most of her time in. When she does take the active slot, the Psyche DMG stacking from her Basic Attacks kicks in and amplifies her output during those windows.
If you cannot get a top-tier gacha weapon for Haniel, Blow up the Crowd gives you nearly everything you need without spending a single pull.
Quick Tips Before You Farm It
- Clear the Rhythm Master commission as soon as Illusion Town becomes accessible. The Beat King requires you to follow a musical rhythm with timed inputs, so focus on the beat rather than trying to fight it like a normal boss.
- Save Tri-Keys if you plan to buy extra copies from the Arc Shop. Each additional copy pushes the Mixing level higher, and the A6 passive numbers are a significant step up from the base values.
- Equip it on Haniel from the moment you earn it. The off-field ATK buff to the active character activates immediately regardless of level, so it starts contributing to your team right away.
Neverness to Everness launched on April 29, 2026, and Blow up the Crowd stands out as one of the most accessible S-Rank Arcs in the current weapon pool. Given that it comes from an Anomaly Commission rather than requiring gacha luck, it is a straightforward priority for any player building around Haniel or a Solid-type lineup.
