Rockstar Games has officially opened pre-orders for one of the biggest physical collectibles tied to Grand Theft Auto VI, and it is definitely not a cheap one. The Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection costs $399.99 and packs 11 pieces of GTA 6-themed merchandise into one limited-edition Collector’s Box.

There is just one detail players need to know before getting too excited: GTA 6 itself is not included.

Instead, Rockstar is going all-in on the fictional culture of Leonida with a collection inspired heavily by Macca the Gator, the bizarre in-game television personality from GTA VI. The box includes everything from Oakley sunglasses and a New Era cap to a Macca figure, a crossbody bag, enamel pins, stickers and a large double-sided poster featuring the full Leonida map.

The collection is available for pre-order through the Rockstar Store while supplies last and is scheduled to arrive on November 19, 2026, the same date Grand Theft Auto VI is currently set to launch.

Rockstar’s $399.99 GTA 6 collection is all about Leonida

The first thing players should understand is that The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is a merchandise collection, not a special edition of Grand Theft Auto VI.

Rockstar lists the Collector’s Box at $399.99 and explicitly states that the Grand Theft Auto VI game is sold separately. So, anyone planning to grab the box and jump into Vice City on launch day will need to purchase the game separately.

That makes the collection very different from a traditional collector’s edition that bundles the game with physical bonuses. Rockstar is instead treating this as a premium collection of standalone memorabilia based around GTA VI’s world.

The set is also described as a limited-edition Collector’s Box, with pre-orders available while supplies last. Rockstar says more GTA VI apparel and collectibles will also be coming to the Rockstar Store.

The $399.99 box comes loaded with 11 main items, and Rockstar has clearly designed the lineup around the fictional personalities, branding and weird sense of humor found throughout Leonida.

Here is everything included:

• Macca the Gator Figure: A 6-inch figure of Macca featuring a twist-open base that doubles as a small stash compartment.
• Oakley Frogskins Sunglasses: Matte-black Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses and a Vice City pink GTA VI logo.
• Leonida Keys Crossbody Bag: A ripstop crossbody bag with black-and-pink lining, woven patches and a custom debossed zipper pull.
• New Era 9FORTY A-Frame Snapback Hat: A Vice City and Leonida-themed hat featuring embroidery and appliques.
• Macca the Gator Magnetic Mirror: An electroplated pink-glass mirror that can also function as a tray or be displayed using its rear-mounted magnets.

Macca the Gator is basically the star of the whole box

Rockstar could have simply covered the merchandise in GTA VI logos and called it a day. Instead, the company has built much of the collection around Macca the Gator, a fictional television personality from the GTA VI universe.

The 6-inch Macca figure is arguably the centerpiece. Its base twists open to reveal a small stash compartment, giving the collectible an extra in-universe touch.

Macca also appears on the souvenir poster, while the wider design of the collection draws from the strange fictional culture Rockstar has created around Leonida.

The box also brings in Chunkee the Manatee, another fictional character, through the collectible shot glass. Together with the Vice City branding, Leonida Keys designs and Macca merchandise, the set feels more like memorabilia from inside GTA VI’s world than a standard piece of gaming merchandise.

The Leonida map poster could be one of the biggest highlights

For players fascinated by GTA VI’s setting, the double-sided souvenir poster stands out for another reason.

One side features an illustrated Vice City and Leonida design with characters from the fictional television show Macca the Gator. Flip it over, and Rockstar provides a full view of the Leonida map.

That makes the poster more than just decorative merchandise. It gives fans a physical representation of the fictional state that serves as the setting for Grand Theft Auto VI.

The collection is therefore not just centered on Vice City itself. It is also tied to the wider Leonida setting that Rockstar has been building around the game.

When does the GTA 6 Vice City Collection arrive?

Rockstar has set November 19, 2026 as the arrival date for The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection.

Pre-orders opened on September 24, 2026, and Rockstar says the limited-edition collection will remain available while supplies last.

The November 19 date is also significant because it is currently the confirmed launch date for Grand Theft Auto VI on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

However, the collection’s arrival alongside the game does not mean buyers are receiving GTA VI with it. The two purchases remain completely separate.

GTA 6 is not digital-only, but there is no disc

There is another important detail surrounding the game’s release that players should not confuse with the Collector’s Box.

Grand Theft Auto VI will be available in both digital and physical versions, according to Rockstar’s support information. However, the physical version does not contain a traditional game disc.

Instead, the physical GTA VI package contains a download code for the game, allowing players to redeem it and begin pre-loading ahead of launch.

Rockstar says the physical version will be available starting November 12 to support pre-loading, while digital pre-loading will also begin at local midnight on November 12. The actual game remains scheduled for November 19.

The separate GTA VI game editions are the Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition, and neither is bundled with the $399.99 Vice City Collection.

What does the $399.99 price actually get you?

This is where the distinction becomes especially important for anyone planning a GTA VI launch-day purchase.

The $399.99 price applies only to the merchandise collection. There is no digital GTA VI code hidden inside the Collector’s Box, and Rockstar’s store listing explicitly says the game is sold separately.

That means a player interested in both the physical collectibles and the game will have to purchase GTA VI separately.

Rockstar’s official game information currently lists GTA VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with separate Standard and Ultimate Editions available through the game’s own purchase channels.

The Vice City Collection is therefore aimed at collectors who want physical memorabilia connected to GTA VI rather than players simply looking for a premium way to buy the game.

The box itself is seriously large

The collection is also not exactly a tiny piece of merchandise that can disappear into a shelf.

Rockstar lists the Collector’s Box dimensions as 19 inches by 13.5 inches by 12.5 inches.

The store also classifies it as an adult collectible rather than a toy. Rockstar warns that the box contains small parts and sharp points or edges and specifies that it is intended for ages 18 and over.

There is also another cost buyers need to keep in mind: the collection is not eligible for free shipping. Depending on the buyer’s location and applicable charges, the final amount paid can therefore be higher than the listed $399.99 price.

Availability can vary by region

Rockstar has also indicated that ordering information for Asia, Latin America and Australia will be provided separately.

That means players in different regions should not assume the ordering process, availability or pricing will be identical worldwide.

For now, the Rockstar Store is handling the pre-order for the collection, with availability limited by supply.
