Neverness To Everness (NTE) is a free-to-play supernatural open-world RPG by Hotta Studio, available across PC, PS5, iOS, and Android. Whether you need to free up storage, fix a corrupted install, or simply take a break from Hethereau, uninstalling NTE is straightforward on every platform. Before you go ahead though, there are a few things worth knowing to make sure your account progress stays safe.
Will You Lose Your Progress If You Uninstall?
No. Since NTE links your game data to your Perfect World Games (PWG) account, your progress stays intact on the server regardless of whether the game is installed on your device. You can reinstall at any time and pick up exactly where you left off, as long as you log back in with the same account on the same server.
However, if you played on PS5 using only your PSN account without linking an email, make sure to link an email address via Settings > Account > User Center before uninstalling. This ensures you can recover your account later.
How To Uninstall NTE on PC (Windows)
NTE on Windows uses a dedicated standalone launcher, not Steam or Epic Games. To uninstall it, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Open the Start Menu and go to Settings
- Step 2: Select Apps, then click Installed Apps
- Step 3: Scroll through the list and find Neverness To Everness or the NTE launcher
- Step 4: Click on it and select Uninstall
- Step 5: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the removal
After uninstalling, it is also worth clearing out any leftover game files manually. Large game folders sometimes remain in your install directory even after the uninstaller runs. NTE requires at least 60GB of storage on PC, so clearing those leftover files will recover a meaningful chunk of space.
Note that if you installed NTE via Google Play Games on PC, the uninstall process runs through the Google Play Games app instead of Windows Settings.
How To Uninstall NTE on PS5
On PS5, you can uninstall NTE directly from the console’s home screen or storage settings:
- Step 1: Go to the PS5 Home Screen and find the NTE game tile
- Step 2: Press the Options button on your controller while hovering over the game
- Step 3: Select Delete from the menu
- Step 4: Confirm the deletion
Alternatively, you can go through Settings > Storage > Games and Apps, find NTE in the list, and delete it from there.
NTE requires at least 70GB of free storage on PS5, so uninstalling frees up a significant amount of space.
How To Uninstall NTE on Android
- Step 1: Long press the NTE app icon on your home screen or app drawer
- Step 2: Select Uninstall from the options that appear
- Step 3: Tap OK to confirm
Alternatively, go to Settings > Apps, find Neverness To Everness in the list, tap it, and select Uninstall. NTE takes up at least 20GB on Android, so removing it frees up a decent amount of space on your device.
How To Uninstall NTE on iOS
- Step 1: Long press the NTE app icon on your home screen until the apps begin to jiggle
- Step 2: Tap the minus icon that appears on the NTE icon
- Step 3: Select Delete App and confirm
You can also uninstall via Settings > General > iPhone Storage, scroll to find Neverness To Everness, tap it, and select Delete App. NTE requires at least 20GB on iOS, and deleting it through Settings also lets you see exactly how much space it is using before you confirm.
Storage Freed After Uninstalling NTE
| Platform | Approximate Storage Recovered |
| PC (Windows) | At least 60GB |
| PS5 | At least 70GB |
| iOS | At least 20GB |
| Android | At least 20GB |
How To Reinstall NTE After Uninstalling
If you decide to return to Hethereau later, reinstalling is simple:
| Platform | How To Reinstall |
| PC (Windows) / Google Play PC | Download via the official link at nte.perfectworld.com |
| PS5 | Search for NTE on the PlayStation Store |
| iOS / Mac | Search for NTE on the App Store |
| Android | Search for NTE on the Google Play Store |
Once reinstalled, log in with your PWG account email and select the same server you played on previously. Your progress will be waiting for you exactly as you left it.
Common Reasons To Reinstall Rather Than Uninstall
If storage space is not the issue and you are uninstalling to fix a technical problem, it is worth trying these fixes first:
- Game crashing on launch on mobile — uninstall and reinstall while keeping the app in the foreground during the download process
- PC download or verification errors — use the Repair Files > One-Click Repair option in the top-right corner of the NTE launcher before doing a full uninstall
- Slow PC performance — Hotta Studio recommends installing NTE on a solid-state drive (SSD) for the best load times
- NVIDIA driver crashes — if you are on NVIDIA graphics driver version 595.79, update to a newer driver before reinstalling
For persistent issues that none of these resolve, contact the NTE support team at nte.contactus@perfectworld.com or visit the support centre at nte.perfectworld.com.
Quick Recap
- Your progress is safe after uninstalling as long as it is tied to a PWG account
- PS5 players should link an email address before uninstalling to protect their account
- PC uninstalls go through Windows Settings > Apps > Installed Apps since NTE uses its own launcher
- Reinstalling is straightforward via the official storefront for each platform
