Stellar Blade is about to get even more stylish. SHIFT UP has unveiled a new vignette trailer for its upcoming Bayonetta collaboration, showing off four new couture outfits for EVE while giving Nintendo Switch 2 players another reason to jump into the action.
The crossover arrives alongside the Stellar Blade Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 in November, but players do not have to wait for launch to see how the port feels. A free playable demo is now available through the Nintendo eShop, giving Switch 2 owners an early chance to experience EVE’s journey before the full game arrives.
And the crossover is not locked to Nintendo’s new hardware. The four Bayonetta-inspired outfits will also be available for existing PlayStation 5 and PC players at no additional cost. SHIFT UP has confirmed that the free cosmetics launch at the same time across the three platforms.

Four Bayonetta-inspired outfits are coming to EVE
The headline feature of the new trailer is obviously the fashion drop.
SHIFT UP’s Bayonetta collaboration adds four new couture outfits for EVE, giving players another way to customise the protagonist while she battles through Stellar Blade’s post-apocalyptic world.
The four outfits are:
- Bayonetta
- Nun
- Jeanne
- Black Tresses
The fourth design, Black Tresses, was initially kept hidden when SHIFT UP first announced the collaboration. The new vignette trailer now gives fans a closer look at all four outfits and how they appear on EVE.
SHIFT UP previously described the collaboration as a celebration arriving alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 launch, promising four new couture outfits for EVE. The developer has confirmed that all four outfits are free rather than paid DLC.
The collaboration outfits become available from November 6 at 00:00 KST/JST, which corresponds to November 5 in some Western time zones.
The crossover also has a particularly strong action-game connection. SHIFT UP CEO Kim Hyung-tae said Bayonetta is personally among his top three action games of his lifetime and explained that the collaboration came together after contacting PlatinumGames. He confirmed that all Stellar Blade owners will receive the four collaboration outfits as a free update.
The four designs include the original Bayonetta 1 outfit, Jeanne’s outfit, the nun outfit from Bayonetta’s prologue, and an original collaboration outfit designed by SHIFT UP.
So yes, EVE is basically getting a whole new Bayonetta wardrobe without players having to pay extra.

The Stellar Blade Switch 2 demo is live right now
While the full Nintendo Switch 2 release is still ahead, players can already try the game.
A Stellar Blade Complete Edition demo is now available through the Nintendo eShop, allowing prospective players to experience the Switch 2 version before its full release. Current reporting confirms the demo went live alongside SHIFT UP’s new Bayonetta collaboration vignette.
The Nintendo Switch 2 edition has been built specifically for the hardware and supports handheld, tabletop and TV modes. Nintendo lists the game as a single-player action-adventure experience.
SHIFT UP has also added hardware-specific functionality instead of simply dropping the existing game onto another platform. Joy-Con 2 motion controls can be used for selected non-combat activities, including fishing.
That gives the Switch 2 version its own little twist while keeping the core Stellar Blade experience intact.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition launches in November
The Stellar Blade Complete Edition is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in November, with regional listings showing November 5 for several Western markets and SHIFT UP’s announcement giving November 6 in Korea and Japan.
The different dates are tied to regional release timing rather than separate versions of the game.
Nintendo’s UK listing currently gives the Switch 2 release as November 5, 2026.
The Complete Edition packages the original Stellar Blade experience with previously released crossover content, including the Stellar Blade x NieR:Automata and Stellar Blade x GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE collaborations. Nintendo’s official listing confirms both pieces of crossover content are included, with some content becoming available after players progress through the main story.
The Complete Edition also comes with additional bonuses:
- Stargazer Suit for EVE
- Stargazer Wear for Adam
- Stargazer Coat for Lily
- Half-Rim Glasses for EVE
- Quadruple Rectangle Earrings for EVE
- Stargazer Pack for the Drone
- 2,000 SP EXP
- 5,000 Gold
There is also good news for physical-game collectors. The physical Switch 2 edition contains the full game on the cartridge, rather than requiring players to download the complete game separately. Reporting on the physical release identifies the package as using a 32GB Game Card.
That means players buying the physical version are not simply getting a download key disguised as a cartridge.

Pre-orders come with three extra EVE cosmetics
Pre-orders for Stellar Blade Complete Edition are already available through the Nintendo eShop and participating retailers.
Players who pre-order receive early access to three additional cosmetic items for EVE:
- Planet Diving Suit (White Edition)
- Classic Round Glasses
- Ear Armor Earrings
The pre-order bonuses give players another set of cosmetics to use alongside the upcoming Bayonetta outfits.
For collectors, SHIFT UP is also offering a limited-edition SteelBook featuring new key art created specifically for the Complete Edition. The SteelBook is being sold in limited quantities through participating retailers, giving physical-edition collectors another option.

Bayonetta outfits are free on PS5 and PC too
This is the part existing Stellar Blade players definitely want to know.
The Bayonetta collaboration is not a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.
SHIFT UP has confirmed that the four free outfits will also arrive on PlayStation 5 and PC. They will be available at the same time as the Switch 2 launch, meaning players who already own Stellar Blade on PS5 or PC will not need to purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 Complete Edition to get the crossover cosmetics.
Stellar Blade is already available on PS5 and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
PlayStation’s official listing also confirms the game’s existing content and previous collaborations with NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE.
So the Nintendo Switch 2 version is bringing the full package to a new platform, while the Bayonetta collaboration is being shared with the game’s existing player base.

Stellar Blade already has a growing crossover lineup
The Bayonetta collaboration is the latest addition to a crossover strategy SHIFT UP has already used with Stellar Blade.
The game previously teamed up with NieR:Automata, bringing additional cosmetics and other crossover content into EVE’s world. It also received a collaboration with GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE.
Nintendo’s official Complete Edition listing confirms that both collaborations are included with the Switch 2 release.
The Bayonetta crossover now expands that lineup again, this time giving EVE four new outfits inspired by the iconic action series.
For players who enjoy customising EVE, the Switch 2 Complete Edition is shaping up to be a packed version of the game rather than a simple port.

EVEโs story is coming to Nintendoโs new hardware
For anyone jumping into Stellar Blade for the first time, the story follows EVE, a member of the 7th Airborne Squad who descends from a human Colony in space to a devastated Earth.
Humanity has been driven away from the planet after Earth is overrun by mysterious creatures known as the Naytiba.
EVE’s mission is straightforward on paper: reclaim Earth and save humanity.
But the deeper she travels through the ruined world, the more complicated that mission becomes. She uncovers fragments of humanity’s past and begins to realise that the truth behind the fall of Earth is not as simple as it first appeared.
The gameplay combines fast-paced action with exploration and story-driven mystery. Players fight through ruined environments, use attack combos and abilities, upgrade weapons and face challenging bosses while uncovering more about the world and EVE’s mission.
Nintendo describes the Switch 2 release as a stylish, fast-paced action-adventure, with the Complete Edition bringing the previously released crossover content together in one package.
