Guilds in Grow a Garden 2 are one of the best reasons to go beyond solo farming. They put you in weekly competitions against other groups, reward your heaviest harvests with rare pets and seed packs, and give the game a genuinely satisfying co-op layer. Here is everything you need to know about joining, creating, and getting the most out of Guilds in Grow a Garden 2.
How to Join a Guild in Grow a Garden 2
Joining a Guild in Grow a Garden 2 does not cost anything. However, you cannot simply browse a list and apply. You need to receive an invitation from a Guild owner or Elder who is in the same server as you. Once they send the invite, here is how to accept it:
- Head to your garden and interact with the Mailbox directly outside your plot.
- Click the Mail tab in the top right corner.
- Find your Guild invitation listed there.
- Click the green Join button to accept and become a member.
The invitation will not pop up as an instant notification. If you are not seeing it, ask the person who invited you to confirm they sent it, then check your Mailbox again.
To find a Guild to join, you can ask in the in-game chat or reach out through the official Grow a Garden 2 Discord server, where players regularly look for members.
How to Create a Guild in Grow a Garden 2

Creating a Guild costs 99 Robux and there is no Sheckles alternative. If you are committed to running a group long-term, here is how to set one up:
- Head to the central hub in the middle of the map, where all the vendor stalls are located.
- Find Gilbert, the NPC at the orange and white striped Guild stall, marked by a shield with a carrot and wheat above it.
- Talk to Gilbert and select Create Guild.
- Fill in the following details:
- Guild Name (maximum 24 characters)
- Guild Tag (maximum 5 characters)
- Guild Description (maximum 200 characters)
- Press Create and confirm the 99 Robux payment.
Your Guild now exists and you can begin inviting members right away.
How to Invite Players to Your Guild
You can only invite players who are currently in the same server as you. To send an invitation:
- Return to Gilbert at the Guild stall.
- Talk to him and select View Guild.
- Click the blue Invite button next to your Guild name.
- Select the player you want to invite from the server list.
- Click the blue Invite button again to send.
The invite will go directly to that player’s Mailbox, where they can choose to accept or decline.
Guild Roles Explained
| Role | Permissions |
| Owner | Full control; can invite, promote, kick, and disband |
| Elder | Can invite new players; up to 5 Elders allowed per Guild |
| Member | Standard member status; can participate in competitions and leave at any time |
Elders and Members can leave a Guild at any time. However, the Owner must disband the Guild entirely in order to leave it.
Guild Size and Expanding Your Roster
The default maximum number of Guild members is 20, though some sources note it can go up to 25 as a starting cap. You can purchase additional member slots using Robux, with the first upgrade costing 79 Robux for five extra slots, up to a maximum of 50 members total.
How to Edit and Manage Your Guild
Guild owners can customise and manage their Guild through the Edit option at the Guild stall. You can change the following at any time:
- Guild Name
- Guild Tag
- Description
- Guild Image
- Colour of the Guild Name, Tag, and Description
To promote a member to Elder, click the green Rank button next to their name in the Guild member list. To remove someone, click the red Kick button. To close the Guild entirely, find your own name in the member list and click the red Disband button.
How Guild Points and Competitions Work
Once you join a Guild, your harvests contribute directly to your group’s weekly competition score. The scoring system works as follows:
- Each member’s score equals the weight of their single heaviest harvested plant
- You earn 1 point per gram of that plant’s weight
- Your Guild’s total score is the sum of every member’s best individual harvest
This means growing one genuinely massive, mutation-boosted crop matters far more than harvesting lots of smaller ones. Focus on high-weight plants and target strong mutations like Bloodlit or Starstruck to push your personal contribution as high as possible.
Note: Guild competition formats can change week to week. The second week’s competition, for example, scored players based on their single biggest inventory sale in Sheckles rather than crop weight. Always check with Gilbert at the Guild stall for the current competition rules.
All Guild Rewards by Rank

Rewards are sent to your Mailbox at the end of each weekly competition. The current reward structure (Week 2) is as follows:
| Rank | Rewards |
| 1 | 1x Mega Rainbow Black Dragon, 2x Rainbow Egg, 10x Rainbow Seed, 10x Gold Seed, 10x Legendary Seed Pack, 10x Common Egg |
| 2 | 1x Mega Black Dragon, 1x Rainbow Egg, 8x Rainbow Seed, 8x Gold Seed, 8x Legendary Seed Pack, 10x Common Egg |

| 4 to 10 | 1x Big Black Dragon, 1x Rainbow Egg, 6x Rainbow Seed, 6x Gold Seed, 6x Legendary Seed Pack, 10x Common Egg |
| 11 to 15 | 1x Rainbow Black Dragon, 1x Rainbow Egg, 5x Rainbow Seed, 5x Gold Seed, 5x Legendary Seed Pack, 10x Common Egg |

| 26 to 250 | 1x Big Egg, 2x Rare Seed Pack, 3x Rainbow Seed, 3x Gold Seed, 3x Legendary Seed Pack, 10x Common Egg |
| 251 to 1,000 | 2x Rare Seed Pack, 3x Rainbow Seed, 3x Gold Seed, 3x Legendary Seed Pack, 10x Common Egg |

| 5,000 to 10,000 | 10x Common Egg, 2x Rare Seed Pack |
| 10,000 and below | 2x Rare Seed Pack |
Reward pools are subject to change each week, so speak with Gilbert to check what is currently on offer before the competition ends.
Quick Tips for Climbing the Guild Leaderboard
- Fill your roster early. Empty member slots mean wasted potential points for the whole Guild.
- Coordinate your harvests. Timing big harvests together spikes the Guild score more effectively than individual trickle contributions.
- Promote reliable members to Elder. This spreads the workload of inviting and managing the roster beyond just the owner.
- Use the Double or Nothing option when selling your inventory for a chance at a higher Sheckle total, which counts toward competition scoring in Sheckle-based weeks.
- Target mutation-boosted heavy crops. Weight and Sheckle value together determine your contribution, so mutated Super or Legendary seeds give the biggest competitive edge.
