Project Slayers 2 Demon Horns Guide: How to Farm Fast and Find the Hidden Hoyuzo Cave

Project Slayers 2 Demon Horns guide

Demon Horns are one of those materials in Project Slayers 2 that you suddenly need a lot more of once your character starts pushing into progression. The good news is that you do not have to wander across the entire map hoping a Demon drops one. There is a hidden farming spot in Bamboo Grove where you can repeatedly fight Hoyuzo Subordinates, collect their drops and eventually take on a Level 52 boss that can reportedly drop three Demon Horns at once.

The main trick is finding the cave. It is hidden directly behind a waterfall, so there is no obvious entrance or interaction prompt waiting to guide you inside. Once you know the route, though, the cave becomes one of the most convenient early Demon Horn farming locations because multiple Hoyuzo Subordinates spawn there and can be cleared repeatedly.

There are also other options as your character gets stronger. Blood Hounded Demons around Mistfall Harbor and High Demons in the Iceveil Valley tundra can also provide Demon Horns. Current September 2026 coverage broadly points to these locations, although the specific drop-rate figures are based on observed or reported game data rather than an official developer-published drop table.

If you’re working toward Demon Horns specifically to fuel the Muzan transformation path, I covered that whole route in Slayers 2 Demon Guide: How to Become a Demon, Find Muzan and Unlock the Full Demon Progression Path.

Where to Farm Demon Horns in Project Slayers 2

Demon Horns come from Demon enemies, meaning you need to fight the appropriate enemies rather than trying to purchase or craft the material through ordinary means.

Here are the currently reported sources:

EnemyLocationReported Drop
Hoyuzo SubordinateHidden waterfall cave, Bamboo GroveDemon Horns x1, around 30%
HoyuzoBack of the Bamboo Grove caveDemon Horns x3, 50%
Blood Hounded DemonCave near Mistfall HarborDemon Horns x1
High DemonIceveil Valley tundraDemon Horns x1, 50%

For newer characters, Hoyuzo Subordinates are the easiest target to build a farming loop around. They are considerably more manageable than the Level 52 boss and are packed together inside the same cave.

That means you can clear the group, wait for the enemies to return and repeat the process without constantly travelling between different overworld locations.

The reported numbers are also worth understanding correctly. A Hoyuzo Subordinate is reported to have roughly a 30% chance of dropping one Demon Horn, so individual kills are not guaranteed to produce anything. High Demons are reported at a 50% chance for one horn, while Hoyuzo has a reported 50% chance to give three horns in one successful roll.

How to Find the Hidden Bamboo Grove Waterfall Cave

This is the part that can waste a lot of time the first time you try it.

The cave is concealed behind a waterfall in Bamboo Grove, and its entrance does not look like a conventional cave entrance. You need to physically move through the falling water.

The route described in current guides begins around Windy Path/Windy Peak. Look for the well near the NPC Knur, which can be used as a shortcut before heading through the Wilderness toward Bamboo Grove.

Already activated the Bamboo Grove Sanctuary? Even better. Set it as your respawn point and you can cut down the travel time considerably whenever you need to return for another farming run.

Once you reach Bamboo Grove, make your way toward the waterfall. Look along the cliffside for the wooden platforms and carefully drop down from one platform to the next until you reach the waterfall.

Now comes the important part:

Walk directly through the falling water.

There is no obvious door and no interaction prompt telling you where to go. The entrance is hidden behind the waterfall itself. Once you pass through the water, you will enter the cave containing the Hoyuzo Subordinates.

That hidden entrance is the key to the entire early farming route.

Farm Hoyuzo Subordinates for an Easy Demon Horn Loop

The front section of the cave contains several Hoyuzo Subordinates, giving you a concentrated group of enemies to farm instead of forcing you to travel around the map looking for individual Demon spawns.

They are stronger than ordinary low-level mobs, but current guides describe them as a practical farming target for characters around the mid-20s and above.

Each Hoyuzo Subordinate reportedly has approximately a 30% chance of dropping one Demon Horn.

The important thing is that the horn appears as a physical item on the ground. Defeating the enemy does not automatically mean the horn has already entered your inventory. Check the area around the defeated Demon and physically collect the item when it drops.

Once the Subordinates have been cleared, you can repeat the farming loop after they respawn.

This is what makes the cave so useful. You are not constantly travelling between separate enemy camps. Instead, you can stay in one compact location, clear the enemies and repeat the process.

And there is another useful preparation step: set the Bamboo Grove Sanctuary as your respawn point. If a farming attempt ends with your character getting defeated, you can get back to the area much faster instead of starting another long journey across the map.

Hoyuzo Can Drop Three Demon Horns at Once

Once your character is strong enough, the cave has an even bigger target waiting deeper inside.

Beyond the Hoyuzo Subordinates is Hoyuzo, a Level 52 boss. Because he is inside the same cave, you can potentially add the boss to your farming routine without travelling to a completely different region.

The reported Hoyuzo reward table includes:

DropReported Chance
EXP x100โ€”
Demon Horns x350%
Hoyuzo’s Haori x112%
Muzan’s Blood x110%
Other listed rewards5% rolls

The biggest reason to care about Hoyuzo is obvious: a successful Demon Horn roll reportedly gives you three horns instead of one.

His reported Demon Horn chance is 50%, meaning the boss can be a much more rewarding target for players who are capable of defeating him consistently.

However, do not treat Hoyuzo as the starting point of your farm just because the reward is larger. He is Level 52, so a newly developed character is much better off clearing the Subordinates in the front section first.

Once your build can handle the boss reliably, adding Hoyuzo to the same farming route can significantly increase the potential number of horns you collect.

Mistfall Harbor Has Another Demon Horn Farming Option

Bamboo Grove is not your only choice.

Around Mistfall Harbor, players can find Blood Hounded Demons inside a cave. These enemies use Blood Demon Arts, making them more demanding than the regular Hoyuzo Subordinates.

They provide another source of Demon Horns, with current reports listing Demon Horns x1 as their drop.

This route can make sense for players who are already spending time around Mistfall Harbor for other activities. Instead of travelling all the way back to Bamboo Grove every time you need another farming session, you can use the nearby Blood Hounded Demons as an alternative source.

Their combat difficulty is the main trade-off, so make sure your character can handle their attacks before treating the cave as your main farming location.

High Demons in Iceveil Valley Offer a 50% Horn Chance

The other major reported option is the High Demon in the tundra area of Iceveil Valley.

High Demons reportedly have a 50% chance of dropping one Demon Horn, which gives them a higher individual horn chance than the roughly 30% reported for Hoyuzo Subordinates.

The downside is that Iceveil Valley is a more demanding environment for developing characters.

High Demons have stronger combat behaviour, and players can potentially end up dealing with multiple enemies at once. Because of this, the Iceveil Valley farming route is more appropriate for developed characters rather than someone who has only recently started collecting progression materials.

So while the reported 50% rate looks attractive on paper, the actual efficiency of a farming route also depends on how quickly and safely your character can clear the enemies.

Why Demon Horns Matter for Progression

Demon Horns are not just another material to leave sitting in your inventory.

Current Project Slayers 2 guides identify them as progression materials used for systems such as Breathing Style training. The exact number required depends on the style and trainer.

That is why building a reserve can be useful. You may not need a huge pile of horns for your current objective, only to discover later that the Breathing Style you want requires another large batch.

There is also an important discrepancy in currently reported requirements.

One guide reports that Sound Breathing requires 150 Demon Horns, while another reports a 20-Horn requirement for Serpent Breathing. These figures refer to different progression paths and illustrate why players should check the requirements for the specific style they intend to pursue rather than assuming every Breathing Style costs the same amount.

The broader takeaway is simple: do not immediately spend every horn you collect without knowing what your next progression target requires.

How to Know When a Demon Horn Has Dropped

The pickup system is easy to misunderstand when you are farming quickly.

After the relevant Demon is defeated, a Demon Horn can appear as a physical drop on the ground. You need to walk over to it and collect it.

Do not assume that every successful kill has automatically added a horn to your inventory.

When the item is collected, a pickup notification should appear. If nothing appears after a kill, that does not automatically mean the location is wrong. The reported drop chances mean that a single defeat can simply fail to produce the material.

This is especially important with Hoyuzo Subordinates because their reported chance is around 30%. Several kills without a horn can therefore happen during a normal farming session.

Which Demon Horn Farm Should You Use?

Your best route depends on how developed your character is and where you are already spending time.

Lower-level or developing characters:
Start with the Hoyuzo Subordinates in the Bamboo Grove waterfall cave. They provide a concentrated group of enemies and are considerably more accessible than the Level 52 boss.

Stronger characters:
Add Hoyuzo to the route. His reported 50% Demon Horn roll can provide three horns at once, making him a valuable target once you can defeat him consistently.

Players already around Iceveil Valley:
Farm High Demons, which reportedly have a 50% chance of dropping one Demon Horn.

Players already around Mistfall Harbor:
The Blood Hounded Demons provide another source and can save you from repeatedly travelling back to Bamboo Grove.

The Bamboo Grove cave remains especially convenient because it combines repeatable Hoyuzo Subordinate spawns with a higher-level boss in the same location.

The Fast Demon Horn Farming Route in Project Slayers 2

For most developing characters, the route is straightforward.

Head toward Bamboo Grove, using the Windy Path/Windy Peak area and the well near Knur as a route shortcut. Players who have already activated the Bamboo Grove Sanctuary can use that spawn point instead.

Once you reach Bamboo Grove, find the waterfall and follow the wooden platforms down the cliffside. Then walk directly through the waterfall to enter the hidden cave.

Start farming the Hoyuzo Subordinates in the front section. Clear them, collect any physical Demon Horn drops and repeat the process after they respawn.

When your character becomes strong enough to handle the Level 52 Hoyuzo, continue deeper into the cave and add the boss to your farming routine. His reported Demon Horn reward is three horns at a 50% chance, giving stronger players another way to build their stock.

As you progress, the Blood Hounded Demons near Mistfall Harbor and High Demons in Iceveil Valley become alternative farming options.

Just remember that the reported drop rates in these guides are based on observed game data rather than an official developer drop table. Project Slayers 2 is also still being actively updated. The game’s Roblox listing shows an update on September 15, 2026, so enemy locations, drop rates, progression requirements and other mechanics can change between versions.

For now, though, the waterfall cave is the route to remember: find Bamboo Grove, reach the waterfall, walk through it and start farming Hoyuzo Subordinates. Once your character is ready for the deeper fight, Hoyuzo is waiting at the back with the chance to drop three Demon Horns in one successful roll.
