Neverness To Everness puts you in the middle of a sprawling open-world city called Hethereau, and getting around on foot quickly loses its appeal. Vehicles are your fastest way to explore, compete in races, and push your City Tycoon progress forward. Here is everything you need to know about unlocking, buying, and managing cars and bikes in NTE.
How To Unlock Vehicles In Neverness To Everness
The vehicle system does not open up immediately. The game ties it to story progression, so you need to follow these steps in order.
- Step 1: Complete the Photo Studio Episode during the second prologue. This hands you the Rover A1 scooter for free and serves as your introduction to personal transport.
- Step 2: Interact with Chiz during the Good Morning, Hethereau guide quest to unlock the City Tycoon system.
- Step 3: Reach City Tycoon Level 2 to unlock your personal Garage and activate purchasing at all three dealerships across Hethereau.
Important: Visiting a dealership before completing these steps will show you no stock at all. The unlock order matters, so progress through the story first.
How To Buy A Car: Step-By-Step
Once you hit City Tycoon Level 2, the buying process is straightforward.
- Step 1: Open your map and look for a blue car icon. Each icon marks a dealership location.
- Step 2: Travel to the dealership and interact with the seller.
- Step 3: Browse the available vehicles and select the one you want.
- Step 4: Purchase it using Fons, the in-game currency.
You earn Fons through daily commissions, Hethereau Hobbies, and open-world exploration. The more actively you engage with the city, the faster your Fons accumulate.
All Dealerships And Vehicle Prices In NTE
There are three dealerships in Hethereau, each with a distinct inventory. Here is the full breakdown.
Novus Dealership (Bridge Crossings, Torchwood Avenue)
| Vehicle | Type | Max Speed | Acceleration | Price |
| C2000 | Car | 130 | 3 | 50,000 Fons |
| M1000 | Car | 146 | 5 | 350,000 Fons |
| ST79 | Car | 155 | 5 | 600,000 Fons |
| Enforcer | Car | 172 | 6 | 1,720,000 Fons |
Novus is the best starting point for most players. The C2000 at 50,000 Fons is the most affordable car in the game and a meaningful upgrade over the starter scooter.
TerraX Dealership (Miguel District, Cheshire Cat Street)
| Vehicle | Type | Max Speed | Acceleration | Price |
| G3 | Car | 138 | 4 | 200,000 Fons |
The G3 is built for off-road use and offers strong customisation options. It sits at a reasonable price point and is worth checking out if you prefer a more rugged vehicle.
Regalia Dealership (New Herland District, Talin Avenue)
| Vehicle | Type | Max Speed | Acceleration | Price |
| Novis ST-X 950 | Motorcycle | 140 | 6 | 250,000 Fons |
| Griffin | Car | 170 | 6 | 1,500,000 Fons |
| Griffin Volante | Car | 170 | 6 | 1,800,000 Fons |
| Blizzard-V4 | Motorcycle | 180 | 7 | 2,450,000 Fons |
| Pursuit V8 | Car | 180 | 7 | 4,000,000 Fons |
| LaVelox | Car | 191 | 8 | 10,800,000 Fons |
| Pendragon | Car | 202 | 9 | 12,000,000 Fons |
Regalia stocks the premium end of the market. It is also the only dealership that sells motorcycles. The Pendragon tops out at 202 km/h and is currently the fastest and most expensive vehicle in the game at 12,000,000 Fons.
Other Ways To Get Vehicles
Beyond the three dealerships, several vehicles are available through alternative sources.
| Vehicle | Type | Source | Price |
| Rover A1 | Scooter | Free via story (Prologue II) | Free |
| K01 | Car | Gift Center (Supersonic Pack) | $25.99 USD or 6,800,000 Fons |
| B100 | Car | Pink Paws Den | 20,000 Paw-Paw Coins |
| Tomorrow Rush | Wheelchair | Pink Paws Den | 30,000 Paw-Paw Coins |
Can You Drive Without Buying A Vehicle?
Yes. If you need a vehicle immediately and do not yet have the Fons to buy one, you can approach NPC drivers in the city and trigger a Requisition prompt. Some drivers will let you borrow their car for free.
However, if a driver refuses and you force them out of the vehicle, your Wanted Level increases immediately, and Security Officers will begin pursuing you across the map. Driving any parked car without permission also triggers the same response. It is a useful short-term option, but it comes with real risk.
Vehicle Types: Which Should You Buy First?
NTE has three vehicle categories, and the right choice depends on how you play.
Cars deliver the highest top speeds and the best overall durability. Owning a car is also a requirement for participating in the Racing Hethereau Hobby, so if you plan to compete in races, prioritise buying a car over anything else.
Motorcycles rival cars in speed and handle tight city streets more nimbly. However, crashing at high speed on a motorcycle throws your character off and deals direct damage, so they carry more inherent risk.
Scooters cap at around 40 kph and are the slowest option overall. Their advantage is flexibility. Scooters can be summoned almost anywhere with enough open space, while cars and motorcycles require road-side summoning. For dense city navigation and short trips, a scooter remains genuinely useful even late in the game.
As a general rule across all categories, a higher price reflects better speed and acceleration stats.
How To Summon And Switch Vehicles
Owning a vehicle does not mean walking back to a garage every time you need it.
- Press T to activate your Key Fob and summon your current vehicle.
- Open the Radial Menu (press Tab) and assign your vehicle key to the Hotbar for single-button access at any time.
- To switch between owned vehicles, open your Inventory, go to the Important section, and swap which vehicle key sits in your Key Fob slot.
Remember: Cars and motorcycles only spawn when you are standing on the side of an actual road. Scooters bypass this entirely.
Durability, Damage, and Repairs
Vehicles take damage from collisions and sustained scraping. As durability drops, your car suffers increasingly severe penalties to both top speed and handling.
Critical warning: If your vehicle starts throwing sparks, that is your signal to get out immediately. Continuing to drive while sparking will cause a full explosion, destroying the vehicle’s durability to zero and dealing heavy damage to your character.
You can repair vehicles through any of these methods:
- Visit a Rampage Players Vehicle Modification Shop (blue car icon with a cogwheel on the map)
- Open the City Tycoon menu and tap Repair at the bottom right
- Use the Mechanic Anomaly Furniture inside your purchased apartment
Pro tip: Adding Jiuyuan to your roster activates a passive skill that significantly reduces the durability loss your vehicle takes from crashes. If you have her, she is well worth keeping active whenever you plan to drive aggressively or race.
Vehicle Modification and Customisation
You can modify owned vehicles at any Rampage Players shop. The available options include changing paint colour and applying new skins, upgrading performance parts for improved acceleration and top speed, and repairing damage in the same visit.
Once you reach City Tycoon Level 20, you unlock the ability to customise your license plate directly from the Garage menu on your in-game phone.
How To Invite Characters To Ride With You
NTE lets you bring Espers along as passengers, adding personality to your drives across Hethereau.
- Open your Garage menu in City Tycoon
- Click the plus icon next to your vehicle
- Select any character who has reached Bond Level 2
- Confirm the selection and they will join you
You raise a character’s Bond level by gifting them items, which you collect naturally while completing quests and exploring the city.
