Neverness to Everness (NTE) launched on April 29, 2026 as one of the most ambitious free-to-play urban open-world RPGs of the year, developed by Hotta Studio. However, not every platform made the launch lineup, and Xbox players in particular have been left with questions. Here is a full breakdown of every confirmed and unconfirmed platform for NTE.

Is Neverness to Everness on Xbox Series X|S?

No. Neverness to Everness is not available on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One at launch. Hotta Studio has made no official announcement about an Xbox version, and there is currently no confirmed timeline for one.

This is not unusual for Asian-developed titles. Hotta Studio, best known for Tower of Fantasy, has historically prioritised PC, mobile, and PlayStation for global releases. PlayStation tends to be significantly more popular than Xbox in East Asian markets, which often means PlayStation gets priority when console versions are decided. However, that does not permanently rule out Xbox in the future. Many similar Asian-developed open-world titles have eventually come to Xbox after their initial launch window, though nothing has been confirmed for NTE.

Where Can You Play NTE Right Now?

PC

You can download Neverness to Everness on PC via the official NTE dedicated launcher, available on the game’s official website. The game is not on Steam or the Epic Games Store at launch, and no future release on either storefront has been confirmed by Hotta Studio.

PC requires approximately 60GB of free storage on an SSD to install. Some players may need to reserve additional space during the decompression process.

PlayStation 5

Neverness to Everness is available on PS5 and can be downloaded through the PlayStation Store. The game is free to play, however an optional PS5 Pre-Order Bundle is available for $9.99, which contains in-game progression resources only and is not required to access or play the game. The bundle includes:

  • Fabricated Dice x5
  • De-noise Solution x10
  • Elite Hunter Guide x10
  • Chaotic Dye x10
  • Manhole Boss x10
  • Beetle Coin x100,000

PS4 is not supported. Only PS5 players can access the game on PlayStation.

Mobile (iOS and Android)

You can download Neverness to Everness on Android via the Google Play Store and on iOS via the Apple App Store. Mobile installation requires approximately 20GB of free storage.

For iOS, the minimum supported device is the iPhone 12 Pro (A14 Bionic chip), with iPhone 14 Pro or newer recommended for the best experience. For Android, the minimum is a Snapdragon 855 with 6-8GB RAM, with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or Gen 3 recommended to avoid performance and thermal issues during extended sessions.

Mac

Mac users can download the game through the official NTE dedicated launcher, the same one used for Windows PC. The launcher is available on the game’s official website.

What About Steam and Other Storefronts?

Neverness to Everness is not available on Steam or the Epic Games Store at launch. Hotta Studio has not confirmed plans to bring the game to either storefront. PC and Mac players must use the official dedicated launcher to download and play.

Is NTE Free to Play?

Yes. Neverness to Everness is completely free to play across all supported platforms. There is no base purchase required to download or access the game. The optional PS5 bundle at $9.99 is purely supplementary and contains in-game progression items only, not access to the game itself.

The game launched with generous free rewards for all players, including free character pulls and Annulith, giving newcomers a solid head start without spending anything.

Cross-Play and Cross-Progression Explained

Neverness to Everness supports both cross-play and cross-progression across PC, PS5, iOS, Android, and Mac. Your progress ties to your Perfect World Games (PWG) account, so you can switch between supported platforms and pick up where you left off.

However, there are two important caveats worth knowing:

  • Server selection is permanent. When you first start the game, you choose between four regional servers: America, Europe, Asia, and Southeast Asia. Your account data locks to that server and cannot be transferred later, so coordinate with friends before selecting.
  • Premium currency purchased on one platform (for example, through iOS) may have restrictions when accessed on other platforms due to individual store policies.

It is strongly recommended to link your PWG account early to ensure smooth cross-progression between devices.

PC System Requirements

SpecMinimumRecommended

GPUNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660RTX 3060 / Radeon RX 6700 or better
RAM16 GB32 GB
Storage60 GB SSD60 GB SSD (reserve extra for decompression)

The recommended GPU tier (RTX 3060 or RX 6700) is suggested to take advantage of the game’s Lumen dynamic lighting built on Unreal Engine 5.

The Short Answer for Xbox Players

Neverness to Everness is not on Xbox at launch and has no confirmed Xbox release date. If you want to play NTE right now, your options are PC (via the official launcher), PS5, iOS, Android, or Mac. Xbox players will need to wait for any future platform announcements from Hotta Studio, which have not materialised as of the game’s April 29, 2026 global launch.
