99 Nights in the Forest: How to Get Bandages and Revive Your Allies

In the dark, bone-chilling wilds of 99 Nights in the Forest, survival is rarely a solo affair. One minute you’re chasing rabbits under a dying sun, the next you’re kneeling beside a fallen friend, desperate to stop the bleeding. This is where bandages come in—not just strips of cloth, but lifelines, hope wrapped in gauze.

Whether you’re braving the woods alone or wandering with friends, bandages are your best bet to patch wounds, restore health, and, most importantly, revive allies from the brink of death. But like everything sacred in this haunted forest, they’re rare, and they’re guarded.

This guide has everything you need for stocking up on bandages and using them wisely.

4 Reliable Ways to Get Bandages in 99 Nights in The Forest

While getting your hands on bandages can seem challenging when you are new to the game, you will discover stable methods as you understand the game environment. Currently, there are four reliable methods you can use to get bandages in 99 Nights in the Forest:

1. Start as the Medic Class (Easy Mode for Support Heroes)

The Medic class starts with two bandages right out of the gate, giving you an edge in early-game survival. One of those even evolves into a medkit later, which heals more HP and revives allies with a higher health buffer.

Pro Tip: To unlock the Medic class, progress through the default ranger class, and prioritize reviving others and crafting basic gear. Once available, the Medic becomes a top-tier support pick for team runs and stronghold raids.

2. Loot Hospital Buildings

If the forest whispers about salvation, it comes in the form of a hospital, a rare, haunting structure that spawns after you’ve upgraded your base fire a few times. Inside, you’ll often find:

  • Multiple bandages
  • Metal chairs (scrap loot)
  • Lockers with supplies

But beware: hospitals don’t spawn quietly. They’re often guarded by packs of wolves, including Alpha Wolves, turning the entry into a blood-soaked gauntlet.

Strategy: Bring backup, or time your entry at dusk when visibility drops for enemies too. Once inside, loot the rear lockers and shut doors to control enemy flow.

3. Find Bandages in Chests (Luck of the Draw)

While bandages can drop from random chests, this is the most inconsistent method. Still, if you’re already scouring the forest for gear and tools, keep an eye out:

 Chest Loot Potential:

  • Bandages (low drop rate)
  • Weapons
  • Food and sacks

Quick Tip: If you’re running chests for bandages, boost your inventory with a higher-tier sack early on and prioritize crafting a sturdy axe to defend yourself in case cultists or wolves are nearby.

4. Craft Bandages at the Anvil Base (Endgame Farming Method)

Once you’re deep into the forest’s mysteries and your fireplace is fully leveled, you might stumble upon the Anvil Base—a massive, circular tower crawling with enemies.

This area is your endgame crafting hub, and once the anvil is rebuilt, you gain access to craftables including:

  • Chainsaws
  • Bandages

Bandage Recipe at the Anvil:

  • 2 Bunny Feet
  • 2 Wolf Pelts

Hunting Tip: Bunny feet are easiest to get with a quick dagger or bow, while wolf pelts drop from regular and alpha wolves—just don’t bite off more than you can chew.

How to Rebuild the Anvil:

  1. Defeat cultists guarding the tower.
  2. Climb green vines to higher floors and gather:
    • Anvil Base
    • Anvil Front
    • Anvil Back
  3. Place them on the ground floor to rebuild the anvil.
  4. Craft and stock up on bandages!

Bonus Tips for Using Bandages Wisely

  • Bandages revive with partial HP—so don’t use them mid-combat unless it’s safe.
  • Avoid wasting them on minor wounds—use them when a player is downed, not just hurt.
  • Use hospitals to farm bandages and stockpile before heading into cultist strongholds.

So go ahead, wrap your wounds, revive your allies, and carry the fight forward. After all, in this forest, it’s not the strongest who survive, but the ones who heal each other.
