The biggest savings came from convenience stores and fuel stations, where customers could grab classic roller-grill favorites for as little as $1 or even free with qualifying purchases.

Love’s Travel Stops also extended its promotions beyond National Hot Dog Day, offering BOGO free on July 14, buy one, get one for $1 on July 16, and two for $3 on July 17, giving rewards members multiple chances to save.

Fast Food Chains Joined National Hot Dog Month With Limited-Time Specials
Restaurant chains also introduced exclusive promotions aimed at National Hot Dog Day customers.
Dog Haus offered a free Haus Dog to rewards members on July 15 without requiring a purchase, followed by BOGO hot dogs from July 16 through July 31.
Wienerschnitzel continued its July Wednesday tradition with four chili dogs for $4, while Hot Dog on a Stick featured a buy one, get a second for $0.80 promotion on participating menu items.

- Shake Shack: Classic hot dog plus classic fries or classic lemonade for $7 using code SUMMERDOG (July 15–19 via app, website, or in-store).
- Krystal: Free Classic Pup, Corn Pup, or Chili Cheese Pup with a $5+ purchase for rewards members on July 15.
- Sonic: $1 All-American and Chili Cheese Coney dogs on July 15, with some reports noting 99¢ corn dogs on July 16.
