Pennsylvania ‘Mini-Bigfoot’ Sightings Begin With Two Creatures on a Farm

The first reported encounter happened on August 18, 2026, at approximately 6:45 p.m., in a rural area of Indiana County, Pennsylvania.

According to Stan Gordon’s account, a woman was outside doing a chore near one of the buildings on her farm when she heard a disturbance coming from the nearby wood line. She described the sound as resembling something being thrown around.

She eventually left the structure and looked toward the trees. Approximately 60 feet away, she reportedly saw a figure crouching behind the trees. Then she realised there was another similar figure nearby.

Gordon recorded the witness as saying:

“noticed a figure crouching behind trees approximately sixty feet away. She then saw a second, similar figure crouched near the first.”

What happened next made the encounter even more unusual.

The two figures reportedly stood up after being discovered and began running around the area as if they were playing. The woman said she was able to observe them for several minutes.

Her estimate placed both creatures at approximately three and a half feet tall. She said they appeared to walk on two legs and were covered with medium-length, straggly, light-brown hair.

Their faces, however, allegedly looked different from the rest of their bodies.

The witness described the faces as darker brown and said the eyes appeared round and dark brown. She also noticed what she considered another unusual characteristic: there appeared to be little or no visible neck.

The strange observation reportedly continued for several minutes before something as ordinary as a sneeze brought it to an abrupt end.

The woman said she sneezed, prompting both figures to stop what they were doing and turn toward her.

Alarmed by their reaction, she ran back into the house.

Her husband did not see the creatures himself. However, according to Gordon, he saw his wife immediately after the incident. She reportedly came running inside and shouted about what she had just witnessed.

Loud ‘Tree Knocks’ Were Reported Hours Before the Alleged Bigfoot Encounter

There was another unusual detail from the same farm that day—and it happened several hours before the reported sighting.

At approximately 4:30 p.m., the woman’s husband was walking the family dog when he reportedly heard a loud knocking sound coming from the direction of a cornfield.

He then heard three additional knocks coming from the top of a nearby ridge.
