Petit Planet is HoYoverse’s upcoming cozy space life sim where you manage your own planet, befriend fuzzy neighbours, and explore the Starsea. The second closed beta, officially called the Stardrift Test, is now open for sign-ups globally. What Platforms Does the Stardrift Test Support?
The Petit Planet Stardrift Test runs on PC (Windows only), iOS, and Android. However, there are a few important platform restrictions to keep in mind before you sign up:
- HarmonyOS devices and emulators are not supported during this test
- Each HoYoverse account can only select one platform when applying
- Once you first log in, your access locks to that specific device and cannot be switched
- Logging in from a different device after your initial session may result in your access being revoked with no possibility of appeal
When you fill out the sign-up survey, select the device you use most often, as you will not be able to change it afterward.

How to Sign Up for the Petit Planet Stardrift Test
You can register for the Petit Planet Stardrift Test by following these steps:
- Visit the official Petit Planet website at planet.hoyoverse.com
- Log in with your HoYoverse account or create one if you do not already have one
- Click the Pre-Register and Join Beta option on the homepage
- Complete the sign-up survey carefully, as this is the primary selection filter
- Double-check all your details, especially your email address, before submitting
- Submit your application and wait for a response
Important: Each HoYoverse account can only submit the survey once, and the information cannot be edited after submission. Take your time before hitting that submit button.
You can also gain access through a second route: participating in community events across Petit Planet’s official social media channels, where test access codes are occasionally given away.
How Will You Know If You Are Selected?
Selected participants will receive a test invitation and download instructions via email or SMS, depending on their region. HoYoverse sends invitations in waves as the April 21 start date approaches, so a delayed response does not mean rejection. Keep a close eye on the email address linked to your HoYoverse account.
However, if you do not receive an invitation, your details remain on file for future opportunities, as HoYoverse has indicated further test phases are planned.
What Does the Stardrift Test Include?
The Stardrift Test represents a significant step forward from the first Coziness Test that took place in November 2025. Players can expect:
- New Neighbours to interact with
- Expanded Starsea Voyage exploration content
- New activities in the Galactic Bazaar, the game’s social hub
- Farming, fishing, cooking, and NPC interactions in a more refined state
The game is still in active development, so the content in this test does not represent the final version of Petit Planet. Feedback from testers will directly shape future updates.
Important Rules to Know Before You Join
- Test access is for personal use only. Sharing, lending, trading, or selling your test access is strictly prohibited
- A stable internet connection is required at all times during the test
- All progress will be wiped when the test ends and servers close
- Content sharing is permitted, including streams, recordings, and screenshots, as long as you follow applicable laws and platform policies
- Data mining, unauthorised use, and deliberate defamation of game content are prohibited and may result in legal action
Additionally, HoYoverse confirms the Petit Planet team will never ask players for cash, account passwords, or personal information through private channels. Any such requests should be treated as scams.

The Petit Planet Stardrift Test supports the following text languages: English, Japanese, French, Russian, Thai, Indonesian, and Simplified Chinese. When Will Petit Planet Officially Release?
Petit Planet does not have an official release date yet. However, when it does launch, the game will be free-to-play and cross-platform.
