Cardellini’s victory was not an isolated achievement for DTF St. Louis.
The HBO limited series collected six Emmys across the two-night Creative Arts ceremony, establishing itself as one of the major winners of the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys.

Joy Sunday Was Nominated Alongside Her ‘DTF St. Louis’ Co-Star
One of the more interesting details in the category was the presence of another DTF St. Louis actress.
Joy Sunday received her first Emmy nomination for playing Detective Jodie Plumb.
The HBO series ultimately had 13 nominations overall, including Sunday’s acting recognition.
After her nomination, Sunday shared photographs of herself as a child and from her first day on the set of DTF St. Louis.
She wrote:
