Where to Find Each Item
Team Rocket Wall Hanging (Withered Wasteland)
The Team Rocket Wall Hanging is the most important item in the setup and acts as the visual centrepiece of the entire habitat. You can find it hidden inside a building in the Withered Wasteland. Head toward the beach area where Magikarp and Slowpoke spawn, locate the nearby building, and enter through the bottom entrance. Move around the corner inside the building to find the painting.
Luxury Sofa (Bleak Beach)
The Luxury Sofa is located inside the ship at Bleak Beach, where abandoned furniture is scattered throughout the interior. You need just one sofa to activate the habitat. However, placing additional sofas around the setup is optional and purely reinforces the overall hideout aesthetic without affecting the spawn.
Potted Plants (Rocky Ridges Museum)
The Potted Plants can be found inside the Rocky Ridges museum. You need a minimum of two. If the specific plant variant does not appear in your run, Twisted Potted Plants work as substitutes and count toward the habitat requirements just as effectively. Additional plants beyond two are optional for aesthetics only.
How to Build the Evil Organization HQ Habitat
Once you have gathered all the required items, placement order matters. The game checks the layout to confirm the habitat is set up correctly before triggering Pokémon spawns.
Step 1: Place the Team Rocket Wall Hanging
Mount the Team Rocket Wall Hanging on a wall in the area where you want the habitat to exist. This painting anchors the entire setup and the rest of the decorations need to be arranged around it.
Step 2: Position a Luxury Sofa Facing the Painting
Place one Luxury Sofa directly in front of the painting. The sofa should face the Wall Hanging to create the command-style seating arrangement the habitat layout expects.
Step 3: Add Any Additional Sofas (Optional)
Place any additional Luxury Sofas around the central setup if you want to reinforce the hideout environment visually. These are not required to activate the habitat but contribute to the overall aesthetic.
Step 4: Add the Potted Plants
Place two Potted Plants on both sides of the painting and sofa area. The plants frame the central setup and complete the environmental requirements needed for the game to register the Evil Organization HQ habitat as active. Additional plants beyond two are optional.
Once all items are correctly positioned, the habitat activates and Persian will begin appearing in the area.
