Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is the acclaimed mobile turn-based strategy game by Snowprint Studios set in the Warhammer 40K universe, and free codes are one of the best ways to keep your squad battle-ready without grinding every resource from scratch.
Few fresh codes dropped this June, covering everything from character shards to Energy. So whether you are pushing through the campaign, prepping for Guild Raids, or farming shards for a new unit, redeem these before they expire and make the most of every free drop on offer.

How to Redeem Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus Codes
Before you can redeem any codes, you need to complete the tutorial and finish Battle 15. Once that is done, follow these steps:
- Launch Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus on your device
- Tap the Home button at the bottom of the screen
- Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner of the screen
- Enter your code into the text box that appears in the pop-up window
- Tap Redeem to claim your rewards
It is that straightforward. Your rewards will arrive directly in your in-game mailbox, so make sure to collect them from there after redeeming.
What Do Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus Codes Give You?
Each code type serves a specific purpose in your progression, so it is worth knowing what you are collecting and why.
| Reward | What It Is Used For |
| Blackstone | Premium currency for summons, crates, and Requisition Drops |
| Gold / Coins | Required for upgrading abilities and ranking up characters |
| Energy | Needed to farm campaign missions for gear and shards |
| Character Shards | Unlock new units or push existing ones to higher star levels |
| Requisition Orders / Scrolls | Used to summon new warriors from different factions |
| Munitions | Support resource for upgrades and progression systems |
| Raid Tickets | Used to participate in Guild Raids |
Codes will not replace smart squad building or consistent play, but they ease the resource crunch that tends to hit when you are upgrading multiple factions simultaneously or chasing specific character shards.
Codes Not Working? Here Is Why
If a code fails to redeem, one of the following reasons is almost certainly the cause:
- The code has expired — Tacticus codes are time-sensitive, so redeem them as soon as possible after they drop
- There is a typo — codes are case-sensitive, and even a single incorrect character will make them invalid
- You have already claimed it — each code can only be redeemed once per account
- You have not completed Battle 15 — the game does not unlock code redemption until this point in the campaign
The simplest fix is to copy the code directly from the table above rather than typing it manually, which removes the risk of any input error entirely.
How to Get More Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus Codes
New codes typically arrive alongside game updates, community milestones, and special events. The developer, Snowprint Studios, usually shares them through the following channels first:
- Official Tacticus Discord server — the fastest source for new code announcements
- Snowprint Studios on X (@tacticusgame) — patch notes, events, and promotions
- Tacticus YouTube channel (@TacticusGame) — creator codes and showcase drops
However, the most straightforward approach is to bookmark this page, as the list updates as soon as new codes are confirmed active. That way you can focus on the campaign rather than hunting across multiple platforms for the latest drops.
Other Ways to Earn Free Rewards in Tacticus
If you have already redeemed every active code and want more resources, the game has several built-in reward systems worth keeping on top of:
- Daily Login Rewards — log in each day to claim Shards, Coins, upgrades, and more
- Season Rewards — earn rewards for each tier you reach during the current season
- Battle Medals — win battles without any losses to earn all three medals, which unlock Loot Crates
- Achievements — complete in-game achievements to collect Blackstone
- Missions — finish missions to earn Coins, Shards, Badges, and XP
These systems stack with code rewards, so keeping all of them active at once makes progression noticeably faster.
