You unlock this Wandering Tale after gaining access to Blissful Retreat through the main storyline. Once there, head to the central area and find Pei Niang standing before the wine tower.

Beginning the Quest Properly

Speak with Pei Niang and complete his full dialogue. The game ties later clues directly to this interaction. Skipping or interrupting the conversation can block progression.

After accepting the task, stay near the tower and examine your surroundings carefully.

Following the First Clue

Move to the left side of the building near Pei Niang. Scan the nearby trees closely and look for a small tuft of yellow fur clinging to the bark. Interact with it to register the clue.

If the tower stands empty, travel to Flower Expanse. From the central house, face the visible waterfall and move toward its lowest cascade. Climb the rocks and ledges near the flowing water. The monkeys and the jar wait on a flat stone near the upper section.

Both locations reflect narrative shifts rather than bugs, so check both without hesitation.

Completing the Tale

Once you collect the First-Jar Wine, return to Pei Niang. Hand over the jar and conclude the conversation. The quest ends immediately, and rewards appear without delay.
