Friendship is a hidden stat in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, quietly increasing the more time your Pokémon spends with you. Here’s how to raise Buneary’s friendship fast:

Keep it in your active party and use it in battles.
Win fights and let it gain experience naturally.
Feed it berries or vitamins like Protein, Iron, and HP Up.
Take it to Cafés such as Café Rouleau to share treats and bond.
Avoid letting it faint during battles, as this slightly lowers friendship.

You can obtain it by completing the side mission “Some Friendly Competition” near Café Rouleau between Wild Area 9 and Wild Area 10. Defeat Chou in battle, and she’ll reward you with the bell. Equip it to Buneary and keep it in your party to make your friendship grow much faster.

Where to Find Buneary

Buneary is most commonly found in the Bleu, Magenta, and Vert Districts of Lumiose City, hopping through grassy patches and small parks. However, the most reliable place to find it is Wild Area 6, where it spawns frequently during both day and night.
