With the Winter Ball update, her arrival is tied to a single quest that blends gentle exploration with a touch of fairytale mystery. The process is simple on the surface, but there is a rhythm to it that makes the moment she appears feel earned and enchanting.
Begin with a Letter from the Fairy Godmother
Once the Winter Ball update is installed, the first sign of Cinderella’s quest appears quietly in your mailbox. The Fairy Godmother writes to tell you that a missing glass shoe is somewhere in the Plaza. This letter begins the quest called The Pumpkin and the Princess.
The shoe rests near the stairs between the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow. Pick it up, then visit the Fairy Godmother inside her house. Speaking to her outside will not advance the quest.
Gather the Ingredients for the Wish Enchantment
The Fairy Godmother reveals that Cinderella’s essence is hidden within a magical pumpkin, and to free her you need to craft a Wish Enchantment. Every ingredient grows or can be mined in the Forgotten Lands, making the search pleasantly contained to a single biome.
You will need:
• Ginger x5
• Gooseberry x5
• Orange Nasturtium x1
• Diamond x1
After collecting everything, craft the Wish Enchantment at any station, then apply it to your watering can directly from your inventory. This enchanted tool will be the key to awakening Cinderella’s pumpkin.
Plant and Grow the Small Spell Pumpkin
Return to the Fairy Godmother, who will give you the Small Spell Pumpkin. Plant it anywhere you like, though keeping it near her home prevents extra backtracking. Water it with your newly enchanted can and wait about fifteen minutes.
When the vines burst forth, harvest them as you would any crop. The pumpkin will vanish instantly, which sends you back to the Fairy Godmother once more. She suspects Remy may have taken it, and sure enough, the pumpkin sits near the counter inside Chez Remy. Speak to him to retrieve it.
Build Cinderella’s Home and Prepare the Plaza
With the pumpkin back in your hands, the Fairy Godmother guides you into the final stretch. Place the blueprint for Cinderella’s house wherever you prefer in the Valley, then speak to Scrooge McDuck to fund the construction.
Before Cinderella appears, you must arrange a small celebration around the Plaza’s wishing well. Place the Spell Pumpkin near the well, then decorate the surrounding area with eight elegant furniture items. These are marked in your inventory with the Fairy Godmother’s icon, making them easy to identify.
Once the items are placed, interact with the Spell Pumpkin. Cinderella will arrive in a warm flash of magic, completing the quest that brought her home.

After welcoming her, speak to the Fairy Godmother one final time. The conversation between them adds a gentle conclusion to the quest, closing the story of the missing shoe and the hidden pumpkin with a soft, familiar grace.
