Terraria 1.4.5.0 introduced an unexpected but memorable collaboration with Palworld, and with it came the Chillet mount. This mount stands out not just for its look, but for how early you can find it and how strong it feels once you do. If you want to know exactly how to get the Chillet mount and what to expect from it, this guide walks you through in detail.

What is the Chillet Mount

Chillet is a mount added in Terraria version 1.4.5.0 as part of the Palworld collaboration. Once summoned, it functions as a fast traversal mount with a built-in dash that deals damage. Unlike many mounts that only focus on movement, Chillet also contributes offensively through its dash mechanic.

There is also a second visual variant called Chillet Ignis, which appears pink instead of blue. However, the mount description and behavior remain the same.

Where is the Chillet Mount Located?

You obtain the Chillet mount by opening a Huge Dragon Egg. This item does not require crafting, bosses, or NPC interaction.

You need to find the Huge Dragon Egg inside a Glowing Mushroom biome. The egg can appear naturally in the world and can be discovered even before fighting any bosses.

Once you find the egg, the process stays simple. You right-click the Huge Dragon Egg, and it immediately grants the Chillet mount.

There are no additional requirements tied to difficulty, progression, or game mode based on the shared information.

What the Chillet Mount Can Do

Once you summon Chillet, you gain more than movement speed.

The mount offers fast horizontal movement that players compare to strong mobility accessories. It jumps higher than the player, works alongside movement items like Cloud in a Bottle, and frees up accessory slots you would normally reserve for mobility.

Chillet also includes a dash attack. By double-tapping a direction, you trigger a damaging dash that outperforms early-game dash options such as the Shield of Cthulhu. This makes the mount especially strong in pre-Hardmode and even pre-boss play.

Players have also noted small interaction details, such as being able to pet the mount and its compatibility with items like the umbrella.

Chillet Ignis Variant

Some players have reported finding a pink version of the mount called Chillet Ignis. While the color differs, the mount description and function remain the same. The variant still comes from a Huge Dragon Egg and behaves identically in gameplay.
