What Is Mistfall Hunter?
Mistfall Hunter is a third-person PvPvE extraction ARPG set in Weavereach, a shattered world where the gods have perished and the Gyldenmist is consuming the realm. Players take on the role of a Gyldhunter, venturing into the corruption solo or with up to two companions to hunt corrupted creatures, loot relics, and extract before losing everything to death.
The core loop revolves around scavenging for Gyldenblood and forgotten relics, fighting off both hostile creatures and rival Gyldhunters, and reaching a Returner Woodling to secure the Soul of Return and escape safely. Death strips you of all your spoils, which keeps every run tense from start to finish.

The Mistfall Hunter Open Beta ran from June 14 to June 22, 2026 across Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation, giving players their first extended hands-on with the game ahead of launch. The beta was a wipe test, meaning all progress was reset on conclusion. However, players who participated earned exclusive beta cosmetics tied to their accounts, ready to use when the full game launches on July 29.
