You don’t need to do anything else after that; they automatically water any crops sitting within their range and keep the growth going on their own. Each sprinkler comes with its own growth speed multiplier, so the higher the rarity, the faster your crops grow and the bigger that range gets too. However, don’t expect this magic to last forever. Every sprinkler runs for a fixed duration of 2 minutes before it wears off, so you will need to keep an eye on it and reactivate once the timer runs out.

Even if you don’t find the sprinkler you need in the shop, you can wait for 2 minutes and check again, as the Gear Shop restocks every 2 minutes. If you are playing from the US, UK, or any other part of the world, the restock time is the same (except for rare glitches).
Which Sprinkler Should You Actually Buy?
Well, there are always a lot of factors to consider while making this purchase. If you are just starting out, grabbing a Common or Uncommon Sprinkler first makes sense while you save up. However, once you have the funds, upgrading to Rare or higher is the best way to go.
In my opinion, these are the best sprinklers to stack once you are loaded:
- Super Sprinkler: The strongest option in the game at a 5x growth speed boost, though the 3,000,000 Sheckle price tag makes it a late-game investment
- Legendary Sprinkler: A solid middle ground at 4x growth speed for players who are not quite ready to spend millions on the Super tier
- Rare Sprinkler: Since Legendary and Super Sprinklers can be expensive and harder to justify early on, the Rare Sprinkler offers a strong 3x boost at a far more manageable 80,000 Sheckles
While it is obvious that stacking sprinklers with higher range will give the best results. However, during the early gameplay, I strongly advise you not to focus on sprinkler stacking as your core strategy.

The best tip for new players would be to spread out your sprinklers throughout your plot. Once you can afford more expensive sprinklers, stack the different types of sprinkler around your most precious crops. You can ensure the crops are covered in the sprinkling range by looking at the highlighted area.
If you are more of an experienced player, you can play around with ‘em legendary and rare sprinklers to test the limits of the growth speed the game can offer.
