What Is Tank Chair About?
Tank Chair takes place on Guicheng Island, described as “the most dangerous town in the universe,” where genetic doping is common practice among gangs seeking ultimate power.
The story centres on Nagi Taira, once the world’s deadliest assassin, who fell into a deep coma after throwing himself in front of a hail of bullets to protect his younger sister, Shizuka Taira. However, there is one unusual condition for his awakening: he must be targeted by a genuine “intent to kill.”
Believing that an extraordinary level of murderous intent will lead to her brother’s full recovery, Shizuka straps Nagi into a heavily modified, weaponised wheelchair and takes him on a brutal rehabilitation journey against the most dangerous assassins and enemies on the island. The result is a story of sibling bonds, hyper-violent action, and eccentric characters set against a decaying dystopian cityscape.
