As one of BTS’s key visuals, Kim Taehyung’s presence has always carried weight. His image shapes eras, sets trends, and anchors the group’s global appeal. That is exactly why his fitness journey matters more than aesthetics. It reflects preparation, endurance, and intent. Ahead of BTS’s comeback, V offered fans a rare but striking look into that discipline through a simple post-workout Instagram Story that quickly became anything but ordinary.
What V Shared With ARMY
V shared an Instagram story meant directly for fans. The story featured a clip of him running, followed by a short video filmed after completing his workout.
Here is the video from his Instagram Story, where he appears after finishing a one-hour-and-twenty-minute run, briefly resting in a locker room while catching his breath.
The moment felt raw and unfiltered. No staging. No announcement. Just Taehyung, sweat-soaked and present, sharing a slice of his routine with ARMY.
A Workout That Says More Than Words
In the clip, V draped his long-sleeve running shirt over his shoulder with effortless ease. Even in recovery mode, his fashion instincts stayed intact. The toned arms visible beneath his short-sleeve T-shirt reflected years of consistent training, not sudden transformation.
Despite the intensity of the run, he appeared relaxed and clear-eyed. Sweat highlighted his features instead of masking them. His sharp jawline, balanced proportions, and natural visuals stood out without makeup or edits, reinforcing why he remains one of the most recognized visuals in global pop culture.
Why Running Has Taken Center Stage?
Before enlistment, V spoke openly about his desire to build physical endurance. He wanted the strength to perform more than ten concerts without fatigue and the resilience to stand firm physically on stage.
After discharge, that mindset has not changed. It has evolved.
V recently shifted from weight training to running. During a live broadcast late last year, he explained that shoulder issues, which began during the Dionysus era in 2019 and worsened through intense military workouts, required rehabilitation. Running now plays a central role in maintaining health without placing strain on injured areas.
Even while dealing with shoulder and thigh injuries during service, V ranked first in shooting drills, excelled in winter urban combat training, and earned commendation as an exemplary Military Police officer in the Special Duty Team. The discipline fans see now has long been in motion.
From the Track to an Unexpected Fan Moment
After completing his run, V surprised fans by visiting the “V TYPE 非 : ON-SITE IN SEOUL” exhibition at Frieze House Seoul. Those attending the exhibition did not expect him to appear in person, turning an ordinary visit into an unforgettable encounter.

Later, on Weverse, V shared a photo of himself standing directly behind fans as they focused on leaving him messages. His caption read, “Behind. Behind. Behind. Me.” The fans failed to notice him at first, creating a playful moment that quickly spread across platforms.
It was subtle, humorous, and very Taehyung.
A Story That Carries Weight Beyond the Screen
V did not frame this moment as promotion. He did not explain it. He simply shared it. For a key visual whose image often defines eras, that restraint speaks volumes.
This post-workout Story was not loud, but it was powerful. It showed consistency, intention, and connection. As BTS moves closer to their comeback, Taehyung continues to prove that discipline, not spectacle, shapes longevity.
