Rebuilding the Pokémon Centers is one of the most satisfying milestones you can hit in Pokémon Pokopia. Not only does each one unlock a reliable way to restore your PP, it also opens up item trading and duplication, all of which make the rest of your adventure considerably easier. However, the process involves several steps and a fair amount of preparation, so knowing exactly what to gather before you start will save you a lot of unnecessary backtracking. Here is everything you need to know about how to build every Pokémon Center in Pokémon Pokopia.
All Pokémon Center Material Requirements
Each region has its own Pokémon Center with a unique set of material and Pokémon requirements. Here is a full breakdown of what you need for each one:

How to Build a Pokémon Center in Pokémon Pokopia
The process is the same across every region, with the exception of a couple of extra steps required for the very first Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center. Here is a full step-by-step walkthrough.
Step 1: Earn the Ditto Flag (Withered Wasteland Only)
Before the Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center rebuild becomes available, you need to unlock the Ditto Flag first. To do this, build your first Leaf Den and place at least 3 pieces of furniture inside it. Once the interior is decorated, speak with Charmander and bring them to Professor Tangrowth. A cutscene plays and you receive the Ditto Flag as a reward.
After that, place the Ditto Flag on or near the Leaf Den to mark it as your home and complete the prerequisite Request. Either placement directly on the den or beside it counts toward finishing this step.
Step 2: Reach Environment Level 3 and Purchase the Rebuilding Kit
For every Pokémon Center, you need to reach Environment Level 3 in that region before the rebuilding kit appears in the PC Shop. You raise the Environment Level by building more habitats and increasing the Comfort Levels of your befriended Pokémon.

Once you hit Level 3, the Pokémon Center Rebuilding Kit becomes available to purchase for 1,000 Coins. You earn Coins by completing Challenges, so it is worth focusing on those if you are running low. After purchasing the kit, it will automatically appear in front of the ruined Pokémon Center.
Step 3: Gather the Required Materials
Stand near the rebuilding kit to see a full list of the materials you need to deposit. You donate materials by interacting with the kit, selecting the “Materials” tab, and pressing A on each item you wish to add.

For the Withered Wasteland Pokémon Center specifically, here is how to gather each material efficiently:
| Material | How to Get It |
| 20 Lumber | Have Scyther use the Chop Specialty to convert Small Logs. Just 2 Small Logs produce 10 Lumber, so you only need 4 Small Logs in total |
| 20 Stone | Gathered from the environment around the opening area, near the beach or up in the hills |
| 10 Leaf | Obtained by chopping up grass or cutting down trees |
| 10 Vine Rope | Found in long grass, received as gifts from Bulbasaur, or dropped by Bellsprout once you build a Tree-Shaded Tall Grass habitat for it |
Step 4: Bring the Required Pokémon
Gathering materials alone is not enough. You also need to bring 8 Pokémon to the construction site and formally request their help. The rebuilding kit pre-selects which Pokémon are needed, so you cannot bring just any combination.

Each kit requires Pokémon with specific Specialties. For the Withered Wasteland, you need:
- 1 Pokémon with the Build Specialty (Timburr, recruited during the story)
- 1 Pokémon with the Bulldoze Specialty (Onix, freed during the story)
- 1 Pokémon with the Chop Specialty (Scyther, recruited during the story)
- 5 additional Pokémon matching the silhouettes shown at the kit
To add Pokémon to the project, first find them in the world and ask them to follow you by selecting “Follow Me” or pressing the Up D-Pad button. Then lead them back to the rebuilding kit, interact with it, and go to the “Pokémon” tab. When a Pokémon’s icon is coloured in, press A to request their help. If the icon is not coloured in yet, the Pokémon simply needs a moment to catch up to you.
You can have up to 5 Pokémon following you at once, which makes it easy to bring a group in a single trip. It is also worth using Honey to call Pokémon back to their habitats before heading out to find them, as this saves a lot of time searching the map.
Step 5: Start Rebuilding and Wait
Once all the materials are deposited and all 8 Pokémon are registered at the kit, select “Start Rebuilding!” The Pokémon Center will be ready the following in-game day. If you do not want to wait, you can advance your Nintendo Switch 2 system clock to the next day to skip the timer entirely, which carries no penalties in Pokémon Pokopia.
What Is Inside the Pokémon Centers?
Once a Pokémon Center is rebuilt, three key features become available inside.

| Feature | Details |
| PP Healing Machine | Found on the right side of the interior; fully restores your PP once per day |
| 3D Printer | Found on the left side; duplicates any item you have photographed in exchange for Pokémetal |
| Trade Shop | If a Pokémon with the Trade Specialty is present, they will trade items with you in exchange for items of equal or higher value |
It is also worth noting that the first time you enter every newly rebuilt Pokémon Center, there will be a Human Record waiting for you on the floor. You will also find some decorative items like a potted plant and a map that you can pick up and use to decorate the world of Pokopia.
PP Healing Machine
The healing machine on the right side of the interior allows you to fully restore your PP once per day. Since PP powers all of Ditto’s moves, having a reliable source of PP restoration nearby makes a significant difference during extended exploration sessions.
3D Printer
The 3D Printer on the left side of the interior lets you duplicate any item you have photographed using Object Mode on your camera. To take a compatible photo, press Minus (-) to open the camera and then press Y to switch to Object Mode. The camera will label whatever you are pointing at, making it easy to confirm you are photographing the right item. After taking the photo, bring it to the 3D Printer, select it, choose how many copies you want, and pay the Pokémetal cost. The printer works instantly. This is particularly useful for copying furniture from Dream Islands or items from other players’ towns.
Trade Shop
If a Pokémon with the Trade Specialty is present in the Pokémon Center, they will set up shop and offer a selection of items including berries and furniture. However, you cannot buy these items with Coins. Instead, you need to offer items from your own inventory that match or exceed the value of what you want. Each item has an assigned value, and the in-game scales tell you when you have offered enough. Keep in mind that if no Pokémon with the Trade Specialty is present, or if they are asleep, the shop will not be open.
