Pigman, known in game as Ritoranta, represents one of those quiet routines that give My Winter Car its grounded rhythm. You do not stumble into him by accident, and the game never points you in his direction. If you want to find Pigman reliably, you need to understand where he lives, when he appears, and why he sometimes seems to vanish without warning.
This guide explains exactly where to find Pigman, how his schedule works, and what to do when he does not show up.
Who is Pigman in My Winter Car
Pigman acts as the ventti dealer in My Winter Car. Ventti is a Finnish card game similar to blackjack, and it offers a risky but tempting way to earn money while reducing stress. You can also lose a significant amount of cash just as easily.
Unlike shopkeepers or story characters, Pigman follows a strict routine. The game treats him as part of the world’s daily cycle rather than a permanent fixture.
Pigman’s Exact Location
You will always find Pigman at the retirement home. The building sits near the town area and serves as his permanent residence in My Winter Car.
Once inside, head to the second room with an open door. Pigman sits at a table waiting for someone to play ventti. He never wanders the building and never appears outdoors. If he is not at that table, he is not available at all.

Pigman’s Schedule
Pigman only appears during nighttime hours. His active window runs from 20:00 to 08:00, or 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Arriving too early or too late guarantees you will not see him. The game checks time strictly, so even a few minutes outside his schedule can make the room appear empty.
If you plan to play ventti, arrive after 9:00 PM to avoid edge cases where he has not spawned yet.
Why Pigman Does Not Appear Sometimes?
Pigman can fail to appear due to a known spawning issue. This problem often occurs after saving the game at locations like Teimo’s Pub.
If Pigman does not show up during his normal hours, do not assume he left permanently. The issue usually fixes itself through simple actions.
To resolve the problem, save your game and reload it. If that does not work, travel far enough away from the retirement home and return after some in game time passes. Waiting one full in game hour also triggers a refresh in many cases.
Playing Ventti With Pigman
Once you sit across from Pigman, you can begin a ventti game by placing bets on the table. The minimum bet starts at 50 markka, and the maximum increases as you win consecutive rounds.

Pigman remembers your highest betting limit across multiple days. If you win too much money, around 7000 markka or more, he reacts by flipping the table and refusing to play. Saving and reloading resets this behavior.
Ventti affects your stress level as well. Winning reduces stress, while losing increases it. Money earned through ventti does not count toward net income, which makes it useful for short term cash without long term consequences.
Things Pigman Does Not Do in My Winter Car
Pigman cannot be killed and never drops items. He also no longer provides access to the Ruscko vehicle, which existed in My Summer Car but does not appear in My Winter Car.
His role now focuses entirely on ventti. Treat him as a routine opportunity rather than a progression mechanic.
