How to Unlock the Iwa the Beautiful Bounty?

Iwa the Beautiful becomes available during Chapter 2, and players can accept it immediately without meeting any special requirements. The bounty board inside the Matsumae Residences displays the notice alongside other regional contracts. After you accept it, the quest marker directs you west toward Benten Port and sets the investigation in motion.

Tracking Iwa Through Benten Port

Benten Port marks the point where the bounty shifts from pursuit to inquiry. The settlement feels calm on the surface, but clear answers remain hard to find.

Speak to the woman inside the gambling den to learn where witnesses last saw Iwa
Travel toward the beach and confront the ronin she mentions
Defeat the ronin to force him to reveal the final clue about Iwa’s location

The ronin gives a precise description that players can easily miss if they rush, a house near the edge of town with a roof covered in orange leaves.

Finding Iwa’s Hiding Place

The house sits along the southern side of Benten Port. Locked doors and barred windows block entry, but the roof offers another route inside.

Look for a building beneath a tree shedding orange leaves
Climb onto the roof and locate the attic hatch
Enter the attic to find Iwa waiting inside

There is no ambush or combat encounter here.

The Choice That Changes Nothing

When you confront her, Iwa explains that she killed a samurai to protect herself. Atsu’s dialogue choices do not change the outcome. No matter what you select, Atsu spares Iwa and completes the bounty.
