The manor is large and easy to spot from the surrounding roads, however it is heavily staffed and all main ground floor entrances are guarded. Attempting to walk through the front door will draw immediate attention, so the entry method below is the way to go.
It is also worth noting that you visit Lioncrest Manor as part of the side quest Bruna’s Request, so if you have that quest active, the manor should already appear on your map.
How to Enter Lioncrest Manor Without a Key
Getting inside without triggering the guards is simpler than it looks. Follow these steps:
- Head to the mostly northerly end of the manor, near the spiked wooden fence and some trees. There are generally no NPCs in this area, making it the safest approach point
- Look for the windows on the upper floor along this side of the building
- Climb up the side of the manor and enter through the second floor window. The left-hand window takes you directly into the room containing the strongbox. If you enter through the middle window instead, simply head through the left-hand door to reach the strongbox room
- Once inside, check that no other NPCs are present in the room before interacting with the strongbox. The strongbox sits near a wardrobe by a window
