BAFTA has announced BAFTA Games in Concert, a new touring music event celebrating 20 years of BAFTA-nominated video game soundtracks. The series will premiere at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Saturday, January 31, 2026, before heading to other UK cities and international venues later in the year.

The concert will be performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, conducted by Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory (Journey, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate). The programme features music from iconic games such as Baldur’s Gate 3, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, Assassin’s Creed, Tomb Raider: Legend, Cuphead, Hitman: Contracts, and Journey, with additional titles and guest appearances still to be announced.

According to BAFTA, the event will combine live orchestral performance with game visuals and imagery, offering audiences a fully immersive experience. The series highlights scores from nominees and winners of the BAFTA Games Awards over the last two decades.

“Games scores capture the hearts and imaginations of millions across the globe,” said Jane Millichip, CEO of BAFTA. “This concert, and the forthcoming international tour, are a brilliant way to extend the celebration of the BAFTA Games Awards and unite fans, artists, and industry figures.”

Composer Austin Wintory, who will lead the BBC Concert Orchestra, added: “It’s often said how solitary composing can be, so it’s thrilling to gather an orchestra, a group of composers, and the audience it’s all made for. I’m honoured to conduct this celebration of the immense spectrum of games music recognised by BAFTA.”

Tickets for the London premiere are now available, starting at £30, via the official website www.liveconcert.games. Tour dates across the UK and overseas will be announced in early 2026.

The Royal Festival Hall, part of London’s Southbank Centre, has hosted world-class performances for over 70 years and is internationally renowned for its acoustics, making it a fitting stage for this debut event.
