What Is Victoria of Many Faces About?
Yen Press publishes both the light novel series and manga adaptation in English. Here’s the official story synopsis:
Plot Summary:
Chloe works as an elite spy, successfully completing even the most dangerous missions thanks to her unparalleled disguise skills and martial arts abilities. She operates flawlessly across multiple lands where spies act behind the scenes in every nation.
However, after her boss betrays her, Chloe suddenly disappears from the spy world. She plans to completely redo her life as Victoria, an ordinary citizen in the neighboring kingdom of Ashberry, desperately striving for a “normal” existence away from espionage.
Unfortunately, Victoria’s peaceful life gets abruptly cut short as she begins getting involved with many people in her new home. Her experiences and abilities from her spy days prove far more useful than she ever expected in this new land!
Meanwhile, the second prince and others take interest in Victoria’s exceptional strength. Shadows close in on the woman with many faces, threatening to expose her past and destroy her dreams of normalcy.
The series blends spy thriller elements with comedy as Victoria tries (and fails) to maintain her cover while her incredible skills keep drawing unwanted attention.
