With the Prehistoric Event about the end on July 19, now is the best time to get your hands on the limited edition Stonebite. While obtaining this uncommon single-time harvest seed is more of a matter of chance, there are more definitive ways to claim this seed. In this guide we will discuss all the methods of getting the Stonebite seed, its use, and if it is worth the grind.

How to get Stonebite Seed in Grow a Garden?

Currently, there are three main methods to obtain Stonebite during the Prehistoric Event:

  • Ancient Seed Packs
  • Exotic Ancient Seed Packs
  • Dino Quests

1. Obtaining Stonebite From Ancient Seed Packs

Once you use an ancient seed pack, there is a random chance of obtaining Fossilight, Boneboo, Horned Dinoshroom, Paradise Petal, Firefly Fern, and of course, Stonebite! According to the official game statistics, the chance of getting a Stonebite is 40%

2. Obtaining Stonebite From Exotic Ancient Seed Packs

If you have run out of ancient seed packs, you can simply head to the Shop and buy an Exotic Ancient Seed Pack with 199 Robux. While the chances of claiming Stonebite through this method is 39%, it is still a relevant path to take. Even if you don’t find Stonebite, you can get rewards like Rainbow Sack while opening the Exotic Seed Pack.

3. Getting Stonebite Through Dino Quests

Dino Quests are yet another unique game feature introduced during the Prehistoric Event. As you complete the three part quest, you can win exclusive event rewards including Stonebite.

Once you have obtained the Stonebite seed, you can show it in your garden and water it using a watering can.

Uses of Stonebite in Grow a Garden

The harvest value of Stonebite is about 35,000 Sheckles which is not a bad deal at all, if you obtain it through Dino Quests. On the other hand, if you obtain it through an Ancient Seed Pack that you craft yourself or by purchasing the Exotic Seed Pack, it might not be so profitable. However, with the right mutation you may be able to extract some reasonable profit out of Stonebite.

Stonebite seed is also the primary requirement for crafting some other valuable seeds like Horsetail.
