After a lengthy delay and a series of controversies surrounding its reveal, Marathon is finally out this month. Bungie’s first all-new game in over a decade, Marathon is a co-op extraction shooter set on the distant colony world of Tau Ceti IV, a location described as rife with rival Runners, hostile security forces, and unpredictable environments. You take on the role of a Runner, competing for loot while gunning down anyone who gets in the way.
Marathon features a striking art direction, a variety of customisable Runner Shells, and Bungie’s well-established gunplay foundation. The game releases into a competitive market alongside Arc Raiders, which has already made a strong impression during its server slam period, raising the question of whether Marathon can carve out its own audience in the extraction shooter space.
You can purchase Marathon via Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Store. The Standard Edition releases at $40 and the Deluxe Edition at $60.
Pokémon Pokopia | March 5 | Switch 2
Pokémon Pokopia is arguably the most ambitious Pokémon spin-off title to date and is one of the most talked-about Switch 2 exclusives of the year so far. Co-developed with Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force, Pokopia puts you in control of a humanoid Ditto who shapes an empty land using moves obtained from Pokémon, creating habitats, collecting resources, building furniture, and inviting friends to visit. The result is a game that blends elements of Minecraft, Animal Crossing, and the Pokémon universe into something genuinely new for the franchise. Pokémon Pokopia is already the highest-rated Pokémon game ever on Metacritic at the time of writing.
You can purchase Pokémon Pokopia at $70 exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2.

The game follows twin sisters Mio and Mayu, who become lost in an abandoned village haunted by vengeful spirits. Your only weapon against them is the Camera Obscura, a magical camera that captures and seals ghosts away. The remake brings updated visuals, quality-of-life gameplay improvements, and a new mechanic designed to emphasise the deep bond between the two sisters.
You can purchase Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake at $50 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

As a Rider, you raise and bond with monsters called Monsties, using their unique abilities to swim, climb, and soar through an open world. The game also introduces a new mechanic centred around habitat preservation and restoration, making each Monstie feel like an essential part of an ecosystem.
